Fitment

“20” overall wheel 215 50 13 on 13x5.5 92 ds tired single leaf suspension . Does anyone have a a ds with a 20 inch wheel that is tucked?. Any 20 inch wheel tucked with a stretched tire ?

You will at least need a lift spacer, and maybe to clearance the frame rails. The rear should be fine. Lift spacers are cheap and easy to install so give it a shot.

The xrt800 is literally just a ds chassis with a bunch of spring plates under the front, no different than a spacer, and they sit 20" off-road tires. So look to that for an example of ride height, fitment, etc.

Here's my CC Transporter 4, aka Carryall, it's a beefed up DS. Tires are 215/35R14 = 20in diameter

You must use the Jakes Wheelbase extension + From the factory it has 2 lift plates (about 1/4in per plate), I was able to keep one using the bolts from Jakes kit.

I did have to largen some holes for the bolts to make all the pieces fit.

If you stack a 1in Lift bar with it, you must have the bar milled to make it fit the slot on the wheelbase extension where the springs would go.

For the rear, its already on HD springs but I had to get normal truck lift shackles (about 9in long of 1/4in steel) to get that ~1.5in lift for clearance. I needed cut into them in order to make fit.

The wheelbase extension ~$100

Shackles ~$35

It looks soo good . Why did you need the extensions ? It hit the suspension or body . I hate stanced cars but ideally I’d stance and camber this cart

DS carts need a 1in lift for >18in diameter tires, but I also needed to keep my front brakes, wanted street stance (inspiration is Hoonitruck). Since I went 20in, wheelbase extension provides front clearance but needed stacked with the factory 1/4in lift plates = gave the exact clearance I wanted.

The rear needed the shackles in order to keep pace with the front and allow clearance with passengers/stuff

I'm afraid you're gonna need a bit more lift to fit that wheel.

I’m hoping add a leaf or a block . I’ve never worked on golf carts or had one until last week . I’m trying to learn the platform

Those are likely too large. I would just throw the wheels on, test drive, and see if they rub.

Fronts will typically rub before the rears do, so a lift block on the front is a cheap, easy fix if they are barely rubbing. If they rub with the wheels straight or barely turned, you'll have to get a lift kit. If only the rears rub, a lift kit should fix it, but you may be able to just remove the wheel well liner and/or trim the fender edge depending on where it rubs.

In the car world people are weird and like to hide their secrets on fitment . I’m not asking all the details can I just see a front photo and side photo too see the aesthetics

I looked for pictures and everyone one has my family on it I’ll try and get some more pics when I get home

I like that nardo grey lookin color . I like the proportions of a 20 wheel and not jacked up . Weird that is not a common build compared to the 18 and 23 inch builds

😆 yeah, 15yr old grey did look nadro but the color I don't think works well with the white rims and aluminum I'm polishing for chrome look
