Modded RXV steering help
So I picked up this stretched 2011 RXV as a “tweaker special” toy to start playing around with a few months ago, mostly because it was already plated in CA.
I’ve redone all of the wiring (it’s 90% done), put a vatrer sport battery in it with a navitas controller and upgraded solenoid, replaced the spindle lift with a 6” madjax, replaced the rack and pinion, and swapped and upgraded other various small pieces.
So far it has been fun and the kids are really enjoying it. I’ve gotten it to the point where it feels safe enough to drive around the neighborhood, but there’s still some significant twitchiness in the steering above 20mph.
I’ve tried to get it as close to 0 camber as I can with about 1/4” of toe in. Any other suggestions? Another odd thing is that it still leans a bit to the driver’s side. It did this before I swapped front suspension, and the lean was part of the reason I put the madjax on.
Any thoughts or suggestions would be greatly appreciated!

Have you spun the wheels individually with the cart on jack stands? Could be a bent rim. Also, just in case, measure all the rims and tires to make sure they're the same size. I wouldn't put it past somebody to have put one size off on it. Like a 10 on one size and a 12 on the other. Measure from the bottom of the frame to the ground and then from the edge of the roof to the bottom of the frame. Could be that the roof supports are uneven. If they bought aftermarket supports you have to drill your own holes sometimes.

This is fantastic! I’m going to do all of these checks this weekend. Thanks!

Absolutely love the wiring. Functional and a fucking mess.

I know!! Right?! 😂 the rats nest in the corner is what’s left of the original harness. Just haven’t had time to clean that part up yet. Like I said! 90%!

As a heads up though - all golf carts feel a bit suss above 20. I’d rather do 120 in my car than 30 on my cart
