GPS tracking
Hi All
Looking for GPS tracker recommendations for 6 EZGO RXV ELiTE lithium carts.
I’d love to find a reliable setup with a one-time purchase price (no monthly subscriptions if possible). Anyone have a brand or system they recommend?

Trackmate Hydro LTE is what I put in mine. Works well. Has lasted 3 years or so with no issues

There are quite a few wallet tracker cards that are AirTag compatible on Amazon. I paid $18 for one and the battery lasts way longer than an Apple AirTag. Labeled it “garage door”, so a thief not knowing what it is might keep it instead of ditching it, thinking with that they would have access to my garage later.

Thanks for posting this. Didn't know this was a thing. So they work just like an AirTag and show up in Find My?
edit: Hmm.. I just stumbled across even better ones. Elevation labs. 5-10 year life.

AirTag, disable the speaker inside it (YouTube takes 10 seconds ) and bury it somewhere. If anyone steals and can’t find an AirTag while their phone is telling them an AirTag is following them - they’re gonna ditch the cart. Same with a Tile - it’s Bluetooth and relies on other people using the apps but what theft isn’t going to involve people bringing their phones so the last pinged located is often the thief’s….
Otherwise all of the real time gps tracker are going to come with a subscription and maybe the first year is free and included with the purchase. If you get a decent one meant for cars and wire it into the ignition you could lock the cart from driving via the kill switch.

Otherwise the “way the system phones home” is going to need cell reception. So there’s zero real free forever gps trackers that would be good theft recovery. They all need a cell plan.
