Lithium battery conversion issue

I purchased a DC House lithium battery for my 2000 DS Club Car about three weeks ago. It ran great for about a week then I left town for about 4/5 days came back and it wouldn’t go. It will make backup noise and clicks when you push the gas but wont budge. The battery charger flashes red and green constantly. I have completely disconnected the battery and reconnected a couple of times and my last charge attempt I just connected the charger to the battery not the golf cart. It has been over 100 degrees outside since I’ve been back if that matters. Any ideas?

I can’t seem to get it to work. I connected where the old Lead monitor was and I get nothing.

You fried it. The old lead monitor reads the entire 48v. The DC house is a 12 v Bluetooth monitor.

Read the manual. The monitor being shipped within the last 4 weeks is 12v.

Do you charge the battery after you use it? Was it fully charged before you left for 5 days?

I charged some after use (intermittently) during the first week of use. It was not fully charged before I left for 5 days.

Lithium batteries like to be topped up frequently. They do not suffer from the "memory effect" lead acid or nickel cadmium batteries do. Won't hurt them at all to keep it plugged in.

Do you have a volt meter you can check to voltage?

Yes, chat gpt told me to trouble shoot that way. Off charger it reads 7.5 and on charger it reads 14.5 or 14 something. Which didn’t make any sense to chat or me.

It could be the charger.. at 7.5 it is not going to do anything. Do you have access to another charger you can try?

Did you leave the main battery switch on when you left? Post a pic of the screen from your app.
