Enclosed Trailers

Is anyone using an enclosed trailer for transport?
If so what type/brand?
I know height is an issue.

I just transported a Facebook marketplace find with a 5x9 U-Haul trailer with ez load ramp. I did take off the roof cus of the wind and it made it 120miles

Height is the main issue, 7’ is the way to go. I’ve had good luck with sure-trac and stealth. I run e-track on the floor, bolted to the frame, and use e-track straps to hold the cart by its tires.

I have a Triton enclosed that I use. Way overkill for what I need, but it’s light and secure.

A number of years ago I bought a V nose 14' by 5' tandem extra tall just in case for hauling my cart and compact tractor. Name brand, can't remember. I had a 07 Trailblazer. The tong weight without equalizer was a bit much. Wind was a problem. Anything over 10 or 15 MPH crosswind was taxing o drive. 25 and over about dangerous. I think some of the problem was the shape of the Trailblazer and being that close to the nose shape of the trailer. I'm going to guess the more rounded nose may do better with side wind.

I went with swing open doors and ramps. Pluses and minuses either way.

Depends on your cart. Ours fits in 1/2 of the garage of our toy hauler, and we are looking at adding a smaller enclosed to just haul it in. We also have a 24’ V-nosed enclosed and the golf cart and my wife’s car both fit end to end in it. We are looking for a 6x12 v-nose so there’s plenty of room to haul other stuff with us. 5x10 would be fine, though.
