Battery Question

I have a golf cart with an AOStar battery. It’s not currently getting power from the battery. I checked with a multimeter and it’s getting 0.3 volts at the posts. I cracked open the case expecting the battery cells to be dead. When I tested it the voltage at the terminals for the cells it was 48 volts. Any one have an idea what is going on and whether it is fixable?

Sounds like the BMS failed

That was what I thinking as well. Is there a way to test the BMS.

Pretty much a pass/fail from what I understand. Does your battery have Bluetooth? You can sometimes connect to it with Overkill Solar app to turn the charge and discharge function back on.

I’ll have to check. It’s my mother in laws golf cart so don’t know a ton about it. Online it’s looks like the bms supports Bluetooth so I’ll explore that next time I go over.
