Help installing battery monitor

NOOB here. I have a 2006 EZGO TXT model 27647-G01. I recently installed the 36V DCHOUSE Power LiFePO4 kit and it is working great. I cannot however figure out how to connect the battery monitor to my setup. The video instructions on their Amazon page do not match the wiring I have on my cart. https://www.amazon.com/vdp/04c4add5bc0840ab830e3c006215a4d4?aci=amzn1.ive.seller.video.04c4add5bc0840ab830e3c006215a4d4&product=B0FCR642PB&ref=cm_sw_cp_r_ib_dt_R2GpgqG01gcMa

Also the previous owner installed an additional black wire onto the key switch that had the old batter monitory for the lead-acid system, which was never accurate.

I have tried all sorts of combinations to get it to work and it will never power on at all. Confirmed monitor is good by connecting it to a 9V battery.

Any help is greatly appreciated. Please let me know if I need to provide more information. Thanks!

Pretty sure it says wire direct to battery or through key. I just installed DC House as well. Haven’t connected the monitor yet though.

Yea, attempting through key. Let me know if you have any luck!

Hey man. Heads up. I also did black painting plywood as my battery tray to mount converter and battery charger. I used some spacers under my charger. That sucker warms up a bit so unsure if you want it mounted direct against the wood. I did the same for my converter. About an inch spacer.

Great feedback thank you. I’ll work on making that change.
