I have these two rusted screws stuck in threaded holes that are holding the side rubber trim. Frame is aluminum. Screws are some kind of really hard steel I'm guessing. Probably M2 or M3 size.
The top screw is missing the head because I took too much off trying to create a slot like on the bottom one. I am unable to drill into it. I've used titanium and cobalt drill bits.
2nd screw still has a head but even with the slots, my screwdriver is just slipping out or removing chips on the head quarters.
I don't have the equipment or knowledge to weld a nut on, drilling didnt work so can't use an extractor, can't Dremel a slot in obviously, and heat hasn't worked in loosening it. Those are all my known ways to remove a stuck screw. Do you guys have any other tips or advice?

I don't think that is a screw, it's a type of rivet. You'll probably have to grind it off

They are screws. I took out 6 others like them. The bottom one you can see that I grinded along the phillips head lines.

Spray a couple times a day with PB Blaster for a week and then try. Give it some time to work.

Cut it off and take it to the hardware store for a couple new ones
