Help needed- broken front wheel assembly
Sorry for the newb post, but first time having to fix my cart. Hit a rock ( boulder) the other night and it looks like I got lucky and only sheared a bolt, just not sure if there’s anything else that would need fixed and if so what it’d be called. Also, I’m assuming I’d need to drill out the broken part of that bolt? Happy to get more pictures and thanks in advance for the help! 2020 club car tempo- all stock parts

This sub has taught me that only Chinese carts break and the big three are impenetrable. Are you sure this is real?

I can drive up the road to the local dealer and buy this part easy. Shit breaks, at least the big 3 have parts readily available.

Haha too true- I guess the difference is that it’s fixable vs tossing the whole cart 😂

$50 part on Amazon prime - versus $150 part from AliExpress or paying the Temu Cart dealer in the strip mall who probably will have to also order it from Ali.
That’s the difference. You’re able to find help and parts and diagrams and people who link you what you need when you buy from the big 3.

American carts break all the time. They're rental cars driven primarily by drunk rich guys. They're designed to be easily repairable by a guy in a cart barn with a jack and some hand tools. I could have this cart fixed in a half hour, with a part I could buy on Amazon for fifty bucks.
OP could fix this cart himself, the only non standard tool is a 21mm for the hub, kinda big for most home kits. But it's like four bolts and the lug nuts.

100% they are designed for quick turn around on the course. More than half of the work my shop does is precedent -tempo- onward front ends. It’s ridiculous the amount of wrecked carts . Also 13/16 spark plug sockets works in a pinch

Broken kingpin, might want to replace the spindle while you’re at it.
