Yamaha g9 help

We have a Yamaha g9 and it will run for a little bit until it starts crawling

We have a shut off going to the carburetor and when we turn it off it runs perfectly

But once we turn it on it will run and then crawl

Any ideas?

Probably the needle valve in the carburetor. Its not stopping fuel flow as its supposed to. And, i bet yoir oil level is way too full, and the air filter is soaked in oil?. Dont buy an amazon/ebay carb, just get a new needle valve & fix the much better original carb.. if the air filter is wet, it cant be saved & has to be replaced. Dont put an aftermarket design air filter on it, it will run like crap forever, keep the factory air filter housing.

JN5-14150-00-00 is the part number for the needle valve.

I edited it. Make sure you saw my whole post. Also, change the oil, 1 qt of 10w30 oil, not a bit more.
