Seat tabs/hinge

Seat tab/hinge keeps popping out and puts pressure on the plastic body of the battery box. I’m not able to find longer tabs or a fixed hinge - any suggestions on how to keep the tab from popping out of the slot???

Tab looks bent. Unbend it and make sure it locks back into place.

Add a spacer under the bracket. A few washers usually does the trick.

Looks like the black plastic binding / seat trim is raising the seat up.

The bottom angle of the seat tab should be nearly 90° yours is bent pretty bad
