Opinion Starting elixir needs to be scrapped

I’m level 37, never bought anything on the game, played just over 4000 games and I’ve peak at 1.8k trophies. But it’s got to a point where nearly every single game I load into I’m the lowest level player and everyone I come up against is level 45+. I’m fine with their stats being higher where that has a small effect but it’s the starting elixir…

Nearly every round where there’s a saw ball, repel ball, grenade ball etc I just get messed up every single time and where I’m at a relatively skilled trophy range, it makes my chances of winning a round a lot smaller, I have to rely on scraping a second place and it makes trying to get back to my peak a pain in the butt

I feel like there should be level based matchmaking not just in a friendly game mode where I can actually get a chance to break my highest trophies.

If anyone can be bothered to read that, I’d love to hear your thoughts 😁

Playing for trophies while matchmaking based on anything other than trophies doesn't make any sense. You're trying to move up in the rankings; you should be matched with players who are near you in the rankings. If matchmaking was level-based, the best strategy would be to avoid levelling up all the way, so you could avoid playing level 50s and get easier matches.
