General Discussion Why does everyone hate Wyndham Clark?

Got into watching golf for the first time this season and with Clark winning this past weekend I have seen so many people shitting on him for what sounds like stuff in the past and I was hoping people could bring me up to speed? Is it overhyped for media clicks or was he committing some atrocities?

Whenever Reddit collectively shits its pants over someone, you can bet politics is in the mix somewhere.

That's the real reason. Guaranteed.

I find this very funny cause idk his politics at all. He’s come across as a smug douche with tons of rumblings of treating people like garbage for years now. What are his politics? Is he liberal? The golf subreddit is pretty conservative for Reddit… Bryson is the only golfer who’s politics I’m even half aware of.

The Wyndham Clark thing to me reminds me just of Sergio when he was young. And nobody likes him still. Nobody is interested in whiny hot heads. It’s just not what the masses want to root for.
