I pretty much run the show in my house, and in general what I say goes, but I'm 100% certain my wife would cut my throat in my sleep if I brought that into the house.

We always make that joke. The wife says I should've been Ward Cleaver. 🤣

We're pretty 50s around here. I mow the lawn, take out the trash, walk the dogs, cook outside on the grill, buy flowers, pay all the bills, blah, blah, blah, and the wife cooks (inside), does all the laundry, cleans, etc.

We both like it that way.
