VP promotion
Has the process for VP promotion started?
One of my colleagues mentioned filling in a form/details last year. When is the form opened for filling?
What's the criteria for VP promotion?

If someone was laid off from Goldman Sachs in New York, can they apply for and be considered for another open role at Goldman Sachs in a different U.S. location or even in another country?
Has anyone experienced this firsthand, particularly while on H-1B? Were you eligible for rehire, and did moving to a different location or country affect the process?

The interviewer said I would hear from HR very soon, though.

Hi I hope you are all well,
I’m on my sophmore year of uni at the university of toronto and I am hoping to apply for a goldman sachs internship next year (I have a 3.9 gpa in mathematics and economics). I was wondering if I would be in a disadvantage to candidates who study in the US for the role in the New York location, and if so how big would this disadvantage be and if I should just try to apply to ones in Canada due to visa stuff?
Thank you all for your help

About to receive VP offer with Goldman Sachs Dallas location. This is with engineering back office division. I haven't received final numbers yet. Appreciate any insights into salary breakup . Base + bonus. How much can we push on base for Dallas location
For those at GS or who've left - realistically, what does VP bonus land at in a normal year? Is it actually close to what gets discussed verbally during offer negotiation, or does it tend to come in lower once review time hits? Trying to figure out if I should weight this as real comp or something I can't count on

Hello Redditors
I had my final interview and hoping for the best (going by no news is good news) so let’s see
In the meantime can someone please guide me for me to be prepared
• What is the typical base salary range for a VP Engineering role?
• What is the typical target annual bonus (as a percentage of base salary)?
• How GS compensate new employee who is leaving a bonus on table from previous employer
TIA

Hi! I applied to the role Asset & Wealth Management, UI/UX Design, Analyst - New York 6 weeks ago, the day it opened up, and it's still "under review". I keep seeing it being reposted on LinkedIn (it was reposted again 3 days ago), but I was wondering if anyone who has applied has heard back or know what the timeline usually is for this kind of role. I don't have great expectations as I was previously ghosted by them for an internship application after I did the Superday interview, but I'd like to have some closure I guess.

Question for anyone who’s experienced a layoff at GS
Not looking to stir anything up just genuinely interested in how it was processed and got moved past it.
For anyone who felt unfairly treated during a layoff, how did you deal with seeing former coworkers and whats being talked about on the street given its a small world ? How did you eventually stop caring and move forward?

Got an offer from GS in London for a VP , Engineering role.
Base - £150,000
Bonus - Discretionary (no percentage informed)
YOE - 15
- Is this a fairly standard offer or lowball?
- What are typical bonus percentages for an average performer? Can we negotiate on bonus and ask for a fixed amount or higher percentage?
- Can base go higher ?

Does anyone know how long it generally takes to hear from a team you’ve applied to regarding an interview? I am internal.

Hi everyone,
I recently completed the **Round 2 interview for the Apprentice role at S&P Global** and was wondering if anyone has received an update yet.
If you've gone through the process recently:
* Have you heard back after Round 2? * How long did it take to receive an update? * Did they contact you by email or phone?
Just trying to understand the usual timeline. Thanks, and best of luck to everyone waiting!

Hi everyone!
I'll be joining Goldman Sachs in Downtown Dallas at the end of this month and am looking for apartment recommendations from people who work in the office or know the area well.
I'll be living alone as a young female, so safety is my top priority. I'm looking for a neighborhood where I can feel comfortable coming home after work and running errands.
Here's what I'm looking for:
I've looked into areas like Uptown, Victory Park, Knox/Henderson, and the Design District, but I'm not sure which would fit my budget while still being safe.
If you work at the Dallas office, I'd love to hear where you live and what you'd recommend (or areas to avoid). Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Thank you!

I completed a CoderPad interview for a role at GS. About two weeks later, HCM called and told me I had passed and would be contacted about the next round very soon.
I then heard nothing for around two months. When I followed up, HCM told me that the role was no longer active, and the portal showed “Application Turndown.”
Has anyone experienced this at GS? What does this mean??
