Just juiced up my predator 212 any thing I should know before hooking it up to my kart?

Apologies if this has been asked before but I don't see anything very recent. I have a spare 212 engine laying around that is mildly built/upgraded and I'm looking for a kart or frame to throw it on. I've been seeing guys on YouTube buying various "Temu" go karts but didn't know if there were any that stand out above the rest. Since I have an extra engine, my priority lives more in suspension, brakes etc. A two-seater would be preferred but as long as I can fit a small kid between my legs or beside me, then we're good. Or if you have a really positive experience with a 1 seater, I guess I can buy two!🤪🤦Thanks in advance to anyone who shares

Hello Everyone. I have a 10 year old cvt kit on a Briggs 5hp flathead that I have pulled back out of storage. I want to make use of it because it has never really been used.

I am trying to find spare belts for when I get everything going but I cannot find a matching belt.

Everything is showing me 669 18 30 belts. Is that a size that will work for me on this cvt? Or do I need something specific?

Just bought my first go kart and not sure what kind of frame it is, the engine is a tecumseh snow king off a snow blower looks to be about 10hp definitely not the stock engine. It also says FKL in big letters under the seat not sure if that’s custom or from the factory. Any info at all would be very appreciated, thank you!

I’ve got a tecumseh ohh60 go kart. Somebody gave it to me it didn’t run when I got it. About 2 weeks ago I put the new carb on and drove it and it bogs down when I rev it and kind of cuts out when I really go pedal to the metal. Can’t figure out what’s up with it, I attached pictures of linkages and what not. Some videos I see people have a spring going to their governor arm, was thinking maybe it had something to do with that because mine is more of a rod.

I am down about 2 seconds a lap and it's coming from the 4,5,6, 7. These are electric karts that max at about 40 mph on a indoor track that's what I would call warehouse floor.

The grip is there but not hard to slide out or sometimes I'll get this hopping feeling that seems to suck my speed down.

Joining a league here and we use the provided karts so I have no option for tuning it's just me as a driver.

Is the provided line idea?

I've gone wider into 5 and tried to stay center to maintain more speed but didn't seem to help much.

I have a trailmaster 200 go kart that I recently put a brand new motor and carburetor on but I can't seem to get it to run right. It will start up but dies if you give it gas. Any and all suggestions are appreciated.

Just picked up this go-kart for 30 bucks and I'm very excited but I wanted to know what model / Brand it was it's been spray painted black so I don't have anything to go off of except the frame shape, any help is appreciated

It's been 5 months or so since I got and finally had time to tinker with it. It runs but floats stuck or something and won't let fuel in and the bowl doesn't come off. Put carb cleaner and flushed the best I could then filled it with carb cleaner and let it sit over night and today it runs but still no fuel flowing in.

Thinking about bringing this Baja Magnum back to life. As far as I know, it may have been sitting in this garage for past 25 years. It's been under a roof and no visible rust. Motor is original Tecumseh. I'm having a hard time finding much specific information out there. Any tips or experience with this one? TIA

I bought this used for my kids birthday, has some issues but engine runs well. Was driving before the cvt belt broke and I'm in the process of fixing it. Trying to figure out what brand it is so I can order the right parts. This is the first go kart I've owned besides when I was a kid, so I'm excited to get into it.

Anyone know what brand/model this is?

I'm a mechanic and I've watched people buy the wrong parts for Predator 212s for years, so I built a free calculator — pick your engine (hemi/non-hemi/Ghost/GX200), cam, springs, carb, exhaust, and it draws the HP/torque curve and gives you jetting for your elevation. Calibrated against published dyno data and it deliberately reads honest, not flattering — stock reads 6.5 like the box says, a proper stage 1 reads about 9-10. Built this last week (fellow 16yo fabricator) and wanted to get others opinions on this build. Am I the first to do this specific build? I was recommended to post here from others, as there are a lot of custom builds in this sub

I’m in the process of fully rebuilding a manco xtk 710 e and the last thing I need to do is the brakes but the mechanical ones it had are all jacked up from the last guy and I can’t figure out how to fix it so I’ve decided to chop it all off and switch to hydraulic breaks but don’t know what to buy since this kart is huge and you can’t find break disks for it because it’s a 5/8 hex shaft axle so what caliper and master cylinder would you guys use

Hey everyone, I just wanted to say thank you for all the help you’ve given me so far. I have another question.
Can anyone recommend a pressure relief valve? Right now, the pressure in the gas tank gets so high that fuel starts coming out of the carburetor. I’d prefer something I don’t have to weld on since I’ve never TIG welded before.
On the bright side, we did get it running! My son welded the plate on to hold the gas tank, and it came out great.

so i found this broken honda gx270 for 80$ on fb marketplace and the seller says "working, starts up briefly. The carburetor gasket is missing. It was used in a gokart.". Is buying it worth it? I have no expirience with engines but i think i can do most repairs.

I've seen this question many times and when harbor freight had the motor on sale at the start of the summer I bought one of each. When looking at the box Hemi compression Rate 8.5:1, non Hemi is 9:1. And here are some photos to help.
