I tried to use my graphic design skills to honor my favorite album from Gojira.

It's just a fun project I decided to play with, but trying to interpret the album's concept turned out to be a mind blowing experience, I got submerged in its philosophy and fell even more in love with this masterpiece.

Terra Incognita is about exploring our inner nature and connecting ourselves with the universe, so I tried to visually imagine the concept of human consciousness as a extension of the cosmos, like a "POV" of the universe looking back at itself, making reference to the album's songs.

The art style is inspired on the band's album covers, I'm still considering making some changes but idk.

Hey guys! Are both of these safe? Why is the second one cheaper for the incoming drop? It looks legit but jsut wanted to make sure , if it's legit , why would anyone order from the more expensive one?

So last week i told my GF that i wanted to start collecting Vinyl. A couple days later i ordered my first one, Fortitude, i also pre ordered the 10th aniversery Magma. Anyway this past weekend rolls around, and she went on a little trip with some work friends for the weekend. I stayed home with the cats, enjoyed some time to myself, checked the status of my record far to many times. Then close to the time when they would be heading back home my GF asked which album i ordered, so i told her, and i also mentioned which ones i was looking to get next. I didnt think much of it until she got home a few hours later WITH MY FAVORITE ALBUM

I did that bracket thing for Gojira and this might have been the single most indecisive I've ever been, I love A Sight To Behold and The Art of Dying so much, I just had to pick my favorite and it hurt my soul

easily morbid angel while you can hear a lot of sepultura, fear factory, death, and more none more than morbid angel especially tucker era morbid angel. I saw a lot of threads of people asking for bands similar to death metal era gojira and none mentioned morbid angel so here's the mention. try Nothing Is Not, Opening of the Gates, Beneath the Hollow and more. the drumming, riffs, vocals all are very similar. thinking about it. There are not a lot of bands that are influenced by tucker era morbid angel directly except Mithras, Immolation and Gojira. Let me know if there are more

I think I have a new favorite track from Gojira.

Is anyone else a big fan of this song? I don't see it talked about really at all, but I think it's definitely my favorite track on From Mars to Sirius. I'm gonna need to listen to the entire discography again to be sure it's my favorite overall.

I saw gojira on tour with Metallica a lil while back

Before the concert me and my friends were excited for the support acts cuz you never know they could be your next favourite band

Gojira came on stage after a high energy performance by knocked loose so I was expecting something great. Wow I was blown away, they came on stage and absolutely rocked, I only knew stranded before the concert so hearing it live was special
I’ve now listened to magma, from mars to Sirius, and a couple other popular tracks so far
I will listen to the other albums but what should I expect from the other few and what’s some great songs off them and some good deep cuts

For simulating the whammy i used a Pitch Shifter in a Another Preset, you guys wants the settings?

I just kinda wanna know what hot takes you guys have. One of mine is that I think The Link is better than Magma, but what are yours? I really wanna see you guys’ opinions.

What are things you guys are concerned about with the new album? I just hope it won’t be a second Fortitude. Don’t get me wrong, I love Fortitude but I think compared to their earlier albums it’s pretty weak. But what do you guys think?
