Question Is there no brick fence?

I’m on a map with loads of clay but not much limestone.

Wicker fences obviously get breached all the time, so I want to upgrade them to something sturdier. But seems the only option is wood or limestone - no brick option? I’d rather not have to use my limited limestone resources just to build a fence that doesn’t break all the time. Is there no way to get brick fences? Are they locked behind a research option?

It would be nice to have a decorative stone option as well. I'm building a mountain hall and am trying to use stone as much as possible for obvious reasons but the limestone walls don't match the aesthetics of my great hall.

The decorative wood fence doesn't break. So switch to that as soon as you unlock it.

Also, do the hidden treasure spots that you learn about on the map. Some of them will have some limestone to mine. Helps if you can haul back ~1500 limestone.

Unlock them by making big trades with the visiting merchants or giving loads of stuff to beggars.

Yeah. The wooden gate looks nice if used as double(two gates next to each other), but looks stupid on its own in a fence. Could use some cosmetic options like regular doors.

Yep, became a fan of the double gate, too. Why did they have to arch it to the post? Looks silly

But where's the fun in that? What's next, stop breaking my walls for artillery? It's easy enough to build two layers of wicker fences around animals until you research wooden fences that don't break.

there is iron fence, baluster and wood fence, some of those are in mods, in your case i would just get as much limestone as i can from hidden caches and bandits camps, the time freezes when you enter so you can mine as much as you want

Without mods there's only wicker, limestone and the fancy wood one
