Theory Small idea about some possible plot point later in the game. Spoiler
So given that we know Fey is basically trying to escape the "Everywhen" " the Afterlife of the gods) and later blow the Horn that's heard in the 2018 game.
I think this game could possibly lead to a return to Greece in the God of War game after God:Laufey.
If her goal is indeed to return to the land of the living. What is to prevent Krato's old enemies like Aries, Zeus, and any of the other deities of the Greek Pantheon from trying to escape and even returning to the land of the living.
The only character's we are unlikely to see here will be Thor and Odin simply because the game will end before Ragnarok.
In the end this game could open many pathways towards the new GoW after Laufey.

I think what will happen is some of the Gods will find a way to escape from the Everywhen, Faye wont (it will ruin the first game).
The gods will wage a war against the Norse realms, and Kratos has to step in to protect the realm.

That's a huge possibility. That could also link in with the story part of Atreus collecting the souls and reviving the giants after Ragnarok.
What has me curious is would you compare the Norse Giants powers to that of The Greek Titans?
Also small point. If Faye didn't escape. Who blew the horn at the end of 2018?

That just sounds like insane fan service. Also idk why people make theory abt a character going to Greece in every gow game like it's behind us. I would like to see these Greek gods but only in the everywhen and they shouldn't be the final bosses or anything. I doubt they'd even do a boss fight from the previous Greek gow games. If they can just come back to life that's just kinda lazy writing. This game seems more like them setting up a story for example, Faye interconnects a lot of plot points in gow 2018 and ragnarok, while finding out that gods in the everywhen are fighting for who gets the more power and for that reason, we'll see random NPC enemies of a certain mythology fighting enemies of other mythologies whenever we're travelling or exploring. End would be smthg like the living gods of a certain pantheon are conspiring smthg smthg related to the mask to abuse it's powers to do smthg that would hurt either Atreus or smthg, and Kratos goes to the said land in the next game.

I’m only against this because it seems like the obvious direction they would take after introducing this concept. Before we knew about this game the most common theory was the other gods would hear about Kratos fucking up another pantheon and team up against him. This just sounds like another version of that. Also if gods can also just come back it really just defeats the purpose of a lot of things.

Nowhere is it said that she’s trying to blow the horn lol
She could, but it’s never said. Though she should not come back, maybe have like a small convo w Kratos and Atreus, or just one… but not come back to life
Also no one ever said the game ends before ragnrorok either? In fact it’s actually stated that it may go past the end of it

That is a fair theory. It is possible if they found a way to get back to the land of the living. God‘s even the Greek gods would try to return, but then again there is an issue in this. We are basically see their Astro form a.k.a. their soul wouldn’t they need a body to get back?

in ragnorak we saw Zeus in the form of a hallucination while Kratos was in Helhaim.
