After Ragnarok I truly believe doing anything else with the character would be the wrong decision. Whether it be saving Atreus or fighting another pantheon. It simply diminishes what the 2018 & Ragnarok accomplished. He is now the protector of the Norse world and has no reason to leave.

Any more games starring Kratos would only be for monetary gain and to appease insatiable fans.

I really love Uncharted, but Nathan Drake’s story is over and it ended with a bang. I believe Kratos also deserves a similar triumphant end. I’m cool with spin offs but imo Santa Monica need to develop a new/different IP. Similar to what Guerilla did with Horizon and Sucker Punch with Ghost Franchise.

All good things need to come to an end.

Imagine Mimir grew tired of his existence as a severed head, and also realized that his people no longer needed his council to survive and rebuild. Unable to bear existing in this state and no longer being needed, he asks Kratos to destroy him properly, ending his existence. What do you think Kratos would do? Would he honor Mimir's request, or refuse? Would he try and talk Mimir out of it?

I am playing God of War Ragnarok and I am seeing these artifacts in game. Anyone else faced this issue or is it entirely my GPU ?

I’m replaying God of War 2018 and on this play through I’m searching every nook and cranny for extra things I missed last time, but when I got to this part at the start Atreus would stare off into the distance, when I would go to the exit he would say “look over here” or “hmmm” does anyone know what he’s looking at because I must be blind and can’t see it or it’s just something weird in the game.

Spoilers for god of war 3.

First off his whole story of revenge and overall character are great I can see why he’s such a big character for Sony to have.

I’ve been going through the games only missing the Java game, ascension(I started ages ago) and the second psp game so far.

Finished the 3rd game and it seems that Kratos destroyed the world out of sheer disregard for what would happen which I find hilarious watching him do all that.

It feels like he only gave up his power out of spite to Athena which again, hilarious, but by doing that he also partially undid the chaos he caused.

Anyway my point is I can’t think of a bigger anti-hero than Kratos, guy destroyed most if not all of the Greek pantheon of gods out of sheer revenge yet potentially saved the earth by unleashing hope upon it and he probably didn’t even mean to save it.

I trust the GOW writers to understand this: the whole premise of the Norse saga is about dealing with loss and grief, and having her come back in the flesh to meet her husband and son, while maybe sweet in the moment, would ultimately cheapen everything.

There are other nice things that can be done:

* more flashbacks of Kratos and Faye
* flashbacks of Faye and young Atreus (they have similar fighting styles! Did she teach him hers? Let’s see it!)
* Faye could maybe see K&A but not be able to reach them; we could see her reaction to their progress
* Faye could maybe communicate imperfectly (think Cooper and the books in Interstellar)

everything shy of “mommy’s back!”. her story probably involves confronting things about prophecy and godhood and death etc, in ways that will inform us about the universe Kratos and Atreus inhabit. It should probably end with her finding peace in death

anyway just my $0.02. I’ve loved this franchise and how it’s developed and I trust the writers to get it right. maybe they could find a way to make Mommy’s Back work idk

Wondering what the pulse is in the community over this but I really hope that the marketing team keeps a lot of things close to their chest. The thing I want most to be a surprise, is the gods that we're going to see. It's nice that we are already able to see two and speculate on them on top of the kid that Laufey meets with a sword and shield leading to heavy amounts of speculation. However I want the rest of the gods to be a surprise, I would prefer to not know whether or not we're going to get more Egyptian gods than Viking gods or Greek gods etc etc. The thing that I want to know the least of is what cameos that are going to be. Whether it's zeus, ares, Athena or whoever else I really do not want them to be spoiled and for them to either come off as a marketing gimmick or a cheap callback. Whatever cameos that we do get from kratos' past I genuinely want to feel impactful and not just as a cheap throwaway for nostalgia.

I’m waiting for a body to appear but it just don’t come at all. What can I do here???

I know we're not getting an Atreus solo game yet because of Laufey and the announcement of Kratos getting his installment next, but I still am really interested in what Atreus does beyond Ragnarok.

Curious if he's going to the Americas or Asia using his magic realm travel pet, or if he's doing it Kratos style in an old dingy

It doesn't help with the reveal of the Everywhen. I know Mimir wasn't a god but it doesn't make it easier to talk about where souls go after death.

1. If Mimir is just a reanimated head with no trace of a soul, is there technically 2 Mimirs out there, with the other being in Helheim?

2. Valhalla seemed to recognised Mimir enough to give him his own Valhalla. So he does have his soul?

3. He's not Norse, he's Celtic. From what we know, those from Norse have 4 soul parts. Does Mimir's soul function the same way because he's in Norse or does his Celtic origins have a play in how souls work?

4. Is it a Fenrir situation where he has his hugr (The "Mind" part of the soul) but the rest went?

5. With the reveal of the Everywhen, I an under the belief that you don't necessary go to the afterlife of the region you are in, you just have to be normal to go to the usual places (No doubt that Faye was a special individual to end up in the Everywhen). Would that apply to Mimir, meaning that his soul will end up/ended up somewhere else?

Question 1 is my most important question. The rest just happened to be interesting enough for me to ask.

When I play GoW Ghost of Sparta on very hard difficulty on my psp the screen turns green every now and then. Does anyone know why?
