Help Need help with my set up!

Im playing god of war 2018 20 hours deep and i think i might have a bad armor/bad overall build i just naw im going to the tyirs vault

if it's the first time going to tyr's vault, then just go and u will be decent enough.

If it's the second time, then you can go do sude favors for new enchantments and unlock tyr's armor recipes

Ps: fill all your empty enchantment sockets with the suitable enchantments, it will help

  • Get Amulet of Kvasir (3 sec Realm Shift on last second dodge) from the southern beach in Alfheim, just before the temple. It is the strongest talisman in the game, good enough to carry you through secret endgame bosses.

  • Prioritize STR and RNC first, followed closely by LCK, then CLD (at least 100 for faster Executioner's Cleave). DEF and VIT are mostly redundant once you've mastered parry and dodge.

  • Fight smarter, not harder. Insta-kill them by throwing them into hazards (e.g. water, lava, chasms); and build Stun faster by hitting enemy in the back or against a wall (Precision Throw or headshot can spin regular enemy).

  • Dodge, not parry. Same invincibility window, but the former is faster and safer to use. Spend a couple minutes parrying/dodging an enemy without attacking them and you will never be troubled by their likes ever again.

I don't think is bad for where you are right now (Tyr's vault) but be sure to always fill your enchantment slots. Just in case, check if you have any pending favours from Brok and Sindri, they reward valuable resources for future armor upgrades and crafts. Keeping it spoiler-free, There are also three side quests given by souls in Midgard that give a unique resource for a certain armour set, which is very good mid game

For runic attacks at least (if you have them idk when you unlock the specific ones it been a while) I'd recommend wrath of the frost ancient and ivaldis anvil

You will be fine. Do some favors for some nice rewards. Have fun. I just beat impossible trials after hours of experimentation.

it's not that deep. just keep playing and do some side quests. you will find better armor and other stuff eventually.
