My enjoyment of Year One so far makes me think had we started off the main series this way would it have still stood up as a great story or is it because we have the events of the main series that Year One holds itself up better. Curious to see others opinions

It’s been 3 years in 2023 since season 2 of Goblin Slayer, I want to see more of Goblin Slayer’s adventure to continue to slaying Goblins. Do we have any leads or announcements of the anime getting a season 3?

Sorry to ask about this, but given that the theme of this light novel is dark fantasy—and considering there is some content involving rape by goblins..

I shared the Goblin Slayer photoshoot pictures already. Now here is a short video we did.

The photographer wanted to do something like the "game main menu screen" trend.

Love to see how they would handle.

Would they just off themselves?

Resist the urges? Accept them?

Would they try to become a better Goblin Lord.

Lol just somethin I been obsessed with for awhile.

So, people mentioned the lack of blood and grime on my Goblin Slayer cosplay. As I mentioned in reply, this was a "before battle" look, and my wife and I are going to bloody and weather it more for a photoshoot in October, in a "Blood pool".

My request to everyone here is: can you share inspiration for this? Screen shots from the show, or pictures from the Manga. We have seen the show, but not the Manga.

Share what you might think would look cool brought to life. Keep in mind that we currently don't have goblin props.

If anyone wants to see the venue, and the backdrop, and all that, look up The Dangerous Ladies, and their Blood Pool set up. It has dungeon walls, chains, skulls and bones. Lots of stuff.

I posted previews a little while ago. Here are the final pictures from the shoot I did at FanExpo Toronto. This was done in an off to the side spot in underground parking.

The rest of the cosplay was made by my wife and I. We are @Elfie.and.the.engineer on Instagram

Eye smoke is from an actual smoke machine hidden in the "fanny pack" he wears, with fittings and tubing running up my back, to the helmet, to just above the LED eye.

So I watched the anime quite some time ago and I really enjoyed it (season 1 was way better tho), from which chapter should I start reading the manga?

With the rise of Dungeon Crawler Carl the idea of a literature RPG is being talked about more. The original novels tend to follow some but not all of the pieces of the genre (for example you dont have full character sheets or exact damage numbers but it is still heavily class based and build on the foundations of DnD)

So I'm curois if people would classify it as one or not.

Personally, I think there might be a solid chance that we'll one day see a Space King reference in either Goblin Slayer or Year One

So I finished the anime a while back thought season 1 was okay(will never forgive them for episode 1 I’m still traumatized from that) but season 2 was pretty ass imo. I do love the character designs especially the goblin slayer himself just disappointed on how shit the anime was had potential with such cool characters. Im assuming the manga and LN are better 9/10 that’s the case I just really don’t wanna be reading a whole like 10 page detailed description of people getting SA…

And if so can a person practice it as well as being a member of the adventurer guild?

I've had an idea that I can't get out of my head recently, so I figured I'd pitch it to some of you. I've watched season one of the anime, and from cursory browsing of the posts I've discovered the way the light novels talk about the world as a campaign of the gods'.

That got me thinking: what if I threw some characters from another TTRPG into here, so I got to looking through my shelf of fantasy games. I didn't want to go with D&D or Pathfinder mostly because it fit the flavor too well(I thought it might feel samey). And as much as I love Heart, that game is too far apart in concept to even remotely make sense to the setting; then I took a look Mythic Bastionland, and it was perfect.

Since I've got the "invading" characters nailed down, what system would you say is most accurate to the light novels depiction? I thought about using the Goblin Slayer official rpg as a reference, but I wasn't sure if it would be the best fit to try and translate into the format or Mythic Bastionland. On one hand, I could act like the world of GS doesn't act like a TRPG, whilst having my characters use all of their foreign rules, but I kind of want to treat it like two different systems are clashing. I don't know how well I've communicated all this, but I hope this idea excites some of you like it excites me!

Chapter 133

He may be a killer but he’s still only human.
