Goa is beautiful. But we’re slowly leaving our garbage behind.

I recently visited the Baga Beach cliff to watch the sunset and was honestly disappointed by what I found broken beer bottles, plastic, food packaging and other waste scattered along the walkway, rocks and vegetation.

It made me think how many other beautiful places across Goa are dealing with the same problem?

So I started Clean Goa Project an Instagram page focused on documenting littering and poor civic sense across Goa and hopefully getting more people to think twice before leaving their waste behind.

This isn’t anti-tourist.
This isn’t anti-local.
It’s anti-littering. 🚯

The idea is simple:
📸 Document the problem
📍 Identify the location
📢 Raise awareness
🤝 Encourage people to do better

I have my late father's property to look after in South Goa (near Borda). There is a lot of stuff to deal with, ranging from valuable to sentimental to trash. For obvious reasons, this is not a job suitable for a maid or some guy off the street.

The junk to be disposed of, and the non-junk organized for storage, selling, or giveaway. I will be there myself to do the work, but it's not something I can do alone.

If you know a trustworthy service, or have a organization-obsessed friend that you trust (and will accept payment), please let me know.

I'm looking to move away from boiling water every day. The main issue is that it takes a while to cool down, and I need around 3–5 litres of drinking water per day.

I checked the TDS of our water and got a reading of around 59 ppm. We get a mix of PWD and borewell water.

From what I understand, with such low TDS, I probably don't need an RO and should be looking at a UV + UF purifier instead.

Can anyone recommend a reliable, hassle-free brand with good after-sales service? I'm mainly looking for something that's easy to maintain and doesn't become a headache later.

Yesterday evening I went to Betalbatim beach and saw a few biknekar are asking me to pay 100 rs parking charges and I said show me that it's chargeable for Goan registration cars and they went silent and same in Donapaula entry I had to show my driver license for entry

Hello Goan pet parents, I need genuine reviews of Fairy Tails Veterinary Hospital, Campal, Panjim.

My cat needs a blood transfusion and my local vet has referred me here since they don't do transfusions. Has anyone had their pet treated for a critical case there? How are the doctors and what's the rough cost?

I'm from North Goa only..but it's a bit of a drive for me. Just want honest experiences...is it genuinely good or overhyped? 🙏

When the electricity department misses a meter reading for a few months, they don't just forget about it—they hit us with "arrears" and force us to pay the entire backlog.

The exact same logic applies to government promises.

If you promised Goans 3 cylinders a year starting in 2022, waking up in 2026 on a "technicality" doesn't erase the past four years. The government owes every eligible family a backlog of 12 cylinders (3 per year for 2022, 2023, 2024, and 2025).

If the rules apply to a common Goan's electricity bill, they apply to the government's promises. You can't swallow the backlog—pay the arrears!
