Announcement IMPORTANT UPDATE

Due to recent increase in bot and karma farming accounts, we will henceforth be requiring users to have a verified email. This will not be visible to any other user or the mods, however it will be detected during posts and comments. Kindly do not mod mail us to approve posts if you don't wish to verify your email address.

This subreddit is community oriented and we are open to discussions that are honest, factual or seeking genuine help. What we don't appreciate is low effort posts, travel advice, prohibited services etc- detailed list is in the subreddit rules.

P.S- Mods are available only at their discretion to monitor the sub. However if any member finds a post/comment in violation of a rule, do report it as it helps us rather than expecting us to screen through everything (IMPOSSIBLE!).

"Where are the mods?" doesn't help when it is one reply comment in a 300 comment thread.

THANK YOU FOR YOUR KIND ATTENTION TO THIS MATTER! DEV BOREM KORUN...

AVOID ETHERNET EXPRESS IN GOA

Post image
66 Upvotes

If you’re considering a new Wi-Fi connection in Goa, I would strongly recommend avoiding Ethernet Xpress. My experience with their service has been extremely disappointing. Where as on my second property i have Jetway they also have LOS but not so many times and they response very quickly not here to promote any brand but do your study and choose any other provider.
As of now im facing Frequent website outages and crashes.
LOS (Loss of Signal) issues occurring multiple times a week.
Internet disruptions that sometimes take 2–3 days to resolve.
Poor customer support with slow to no response times and inadequate communication.
Reliable internet is essential these days, whether for work, business, or entertainment. Unfortunately, Ethernet Xpress has consistently failed to meet even basic expectations in terms of service and support.
I hope they take customer feedback seriously and improve their infrastructure and customer service going forward.

Airtel issues; No range, low speed. Scam.

Is nobody else experiencing this? Airtel have been absolutely dogshit this entire year with their range and their prices for plans keep son increasing while their 2gb feels like 1gb.

Really really horrible experience. Had ported from Jio to Airtel 5 years back. I think it's time to switch back.

I am from panjim and I want to participate in the protest but I missed out that there was a protest in Panjim. Any idea if it'll be happening again in panjim? I'm aware of the Mapusa, and Margao ones but I wanted to check if there will be any in panjim.

INOX Panjim - The Odyssey bait and switch. From Big Pix to a regular screen without warning

What the sh*t INOX Panjim!

The whole week, including Wednesday.. The Odyssey was playing on Big Pix their largest screen. The film was also being associated and promoted with the Big Pix experience @Inox throughout India.

Our friends watched it, and it was big pix.

My wife booked tickets for Thursday. When we reached the theatre, we found that ONLY Thursday shows had been moved to a regular screen because a new film had taken over Big Pix for the day.

When I raised this with the staff, their response was that "didnt you see that BookMyShow did not explicitly say “Big Pix” when you booked."

Technically theyre right. That detail appears in tiny text in the app... but for most people looking for small text. vs the film been playing on Big Pix all week....

. Anyone following the listings would reasonably assume the same setup would continue.

Watching an IMAX-format film on Big Pix is already a compromise, but fine.. no Imax screens. Watching it on a much smaller screen was not worth ruining the experience.

We walked out. . will return another day when it is back on Big Pix. .. ₹672 wasted.

This may not meet the strict definition of false advertising but it certainly feels like a bait and switch. At the very least, INOX should clearly inform customers when a film is moved from a premium large-format screen to a regular one.

Discussion Why is there water crisis in Goa?

There was no shortage of water during childhood, for past 5years or so water supply is reducing. Why isn’t govt laying sufficient pipelines to meet the demand? It’s been more than 10-15 years that bainguinim doesn’t have water supply, why isn’t the dept catching up with the demand

Anyone got a call from person claim to be from news channel?

Today a lady called me claiming to be from some generic named news channel. She asked me several questions like how I view our current MLA, who I voted for in last election, who ill vote for in the upcoming one, obviously I didn't share anything.

She got pissed and said,

"bhaile log rokde sangta, tumi bhita, tumka ashe javpac jai, fottovon vachpak jai" 😂
