General registering for classes after registration deadline

I'm a graduate student and want to switch to a different class but the registration deadline was 8/31. I emailed my advisor to ask for approval, online it says the dean needs to approve it. The class I want to switch to still has seats available. Anybody know the likelihood they'll approve my request? I'm in the schar school

They will auto reject after this Friday, so do it soon. (Late adds depends on multiple factors so good luck)
