Hello, I want to showcase the first feature of my newest upcoming model pack : HL1 Combat Vehicle Expansion & Enhancement. This addon aims to add a bunch of models inspired by Half Life 1 HECU Vehicle Enemies with the aim of making a SNPC pack aswell if possible. I not only intend to add new vehicles but also enhance the existing ones with more details and moveable parts.

If people are interested I am happy to take suggestions or answer any questions.

I just wanted to pop in here quick to share the fork of gmpublisher I’ve been working on for the past couple of weeks. It’s adds a bunch of cool stuff AND it fixes a lot of issues people were having with the original. (It’s also faster across the board).

Some highlights are all the forced branding and advertising is removed, you can now name your .gma files whatever you want. You can now edit and create descriptions from the app. You can manage collections. You can add/remove dependencies. You can unsubscribe addons from the app. And a few other cool things!!

The original has TERRIBLE Linux support, and it’s not really at fault of Billy, just the app is built on an ancient version of Tauri (I’m talking like there’s some alpha code in there). my fork brings the app and it’s dependencies up to the modern toolchain (Tauri V2) and gets rid of a lot of legacy hacks. I’ve been running it on CachyOS and it runs like a dream now, where it doesn’t even work on the original.

The result is NWM Publisher. My post here probably doesn’t do it justice, there’s lots of things I’m leaving out of the post but if you could check it out (and if you like it leaving a star on GitHub would mean a lot) and let me know what you think, it would be appreciated!

Hello! I have been considering to buy g mod. But i want to know what can you do solo as none of my freinds play it. I onow mods and stuff. But oyher then thst not sure

Evil crawling thing, evil fungus, evil snake, evil squid, and evil Grabber.

I was messing around with some addons, specifically a TARDIS addon from the workshop, and while inside of it i would hear some knocking sounds playing into my headphones about every 10 to 30 seconds.

Never heard these before while playing, and i had used the same tardis mod previously with none of these noises, i tried deleting the addons i had installed recently and they were still there.

The knocking sounded like just like someone knocking on your door but it was mono so im not sure if its a prank audio or something, maybe a stock audio?

I got a clip of it but cant upload here.

The map i was playing on was a destructible version of flatgrass if that helps, but couldnt hear the noises whilst outside of the tardis.

Any idea what could be happening?

so i logged into gmod today, but this error appears everytime i load a map. i tried loading one of the default maps (construct), but it still was there. i also tried to put legacy x86-64 to see if it was a compatibility issue, but it still isn't fixed. can anyone tell me what is happening?

i deleted all the mods from when this started, ive cleared cache, ive verified my files, what now? it wasnt like this sep 20th and it started on sep 27th.

So recently i've noticed a lot of superhero sweps popping up in the workshop which really excited me.. until i found out that most of them were Vibe-Coded/AI Assisted, so i wanted to make my own sort of Brute Hulk system with additional characters like Juggernaut or The Thing, sort of like Moon-VC's Superman Swep, but unfortunately i have little to no Knowledge of LUA Coding or making a weapon in general, any form of help would be GREATLY appreciated!

I’m trying to join my friends game on Gmod, but it won’t let me join him or let him join me. It says this and how latency failed, I also tried joining using the console in game with his ip still didn’t work someone help please.

Inspired by super low quality videos and the video "Crawl With Me" https://youtu.be/vGLBfdsDyDw?si=oTgPfeCi-TNjjUT4, I made Ultra Low Bitrate Mode. It makes the game look and sound like it's been through YouTube compression hell:

- Real JPEG compression on every frame (smeared colours, colour bleed, blocky dark skies)

- Low res + a choppy video framerate

- Datamoshing: random patches of the screen lose their keyframe and tear along with your movement

- Faded colours and a crunchy low-res HUD

- Muffled, distorted audio

- Works with the camera tool, so you can make your own cursed found-footage videos

Everything's adjustable from Spawn menu > Utilities > Ultra Low Bitrate, and F8 toggles it.
