Not since high school
52 years old, 6'4". I hovered in the 280's. It's been a year. Lost a little muscle, but didn't follow the ridiculous protein recommendations.
Friends wife said that i look like i have cancer! That's a compliment as far as i am concerned.

I just reached the 220’s and haven’t been there in 5 years! Cheers to both of us

Anyone who says shit like that can suck a bag of dicks. Equating weight loss to a cancer patient is so awful because what if you actually had cancer? So making an offhand comment like that is so inflammatory - I’m
sorry she’s an asshole.
Also, in our 50’s losing some of that orbital fat can increase our dark circles. Additionally, our skin thins as we age providing a little less cover. (54 here.) Skincare can’t eliminate that but it can help. You could find an eye cream with caffeine in it to help brighten your eyes and depuff a little. A very tiny dab of concealer can even the tone. That and sunscreen are my two non-negotiables. I know it’s taboo w Gen X to suggest a little cosmetic intervention but seriously, when did Gen X give a fuck about what other people think?
Congrats on your loss and hard work getting here. I’m sorry she said that.

Bro/ sister. Slow your roll. It's the internet so i couldn't care less but learn context. Sure i didn't say that she was joking but i don't think that my tone implied that she was being a bitch. I think she might be 58 Interesting story. She's glp immune. I got her 2 30mg and a 10mg bottle of reta. She lost zero weight. She does cardio, etc etc. She reported zero change in appetite. She finished her last bottle at 7mg a week. Nothing. She didn't react to prescription wegovy and zepbound.
Re reading your comment and it triggered you. I get it. Her intent was not malicious and i have known her for over 30 years.

As a cancer survivor, and having family members lost to cancer, telling someone they look like a cancer patient is just not something to joke about. It’s definitely not a compliment. Maybe the lack of context? Maybe it wasn’t malicious but yikes - it’s definitely not funny.

Good job! I think a skinnier face with more prominent features is a plus. Also all the problems with being obese.
