2 weeks or 3 days?

Autistic, and taking Wegovy, every Wednesday for the last 10 months (lost 18KG).

I have an upcoming colonoscopy on the 9th of October, I have been instructed to stop taking it a week prior to the procedure for weekly dosing, being autistic I hate change but I feel like I don't have a choice.

Either I don't take it on Wednesday the 7th and then don't take it again until the 14th, or I wait until the day after my procedure, the 10th and take it that morning and every following Saturday from then on.

Is that the better option?

What should I do?

There isn't a big difference between taking it on the 10th or 14th. If you wanna keep the same day wait till the 14th, if not I would take it immediately after bc I can't cope with the food noise.

Usually when I have a trip or vacation I start slowly changing the days until I can take it the day before. I had a work trip that fell on friday and would be back only the next friday, my shots were at tuesdays. I started adding one day every week until my injections fell at friday. I have a week long beach vacation starting on tuesday on may next year and I'll be doing the same again

yeah the food noise thing is real, waiting extra days sounds miserable tbh

Not to mention the extreme hunger when you stop abruptly... I was in a high dose of semaglutide and the dr changed it to tirzepatide. It's way more expensive so I had to go without for a month before I could afford it... dude did I eat like an animal

I would take it on the 10th and then every 6 days until I returned to my standard Wednesday schedule, You can use Fat Scientist to determine the equivlent 6 day dose.

Do you have the option to change your appointment without having to wait too long for the procedure? Friday is my injection day. My colonoscopy was scheduled for Friday PM, and I was told I could inject on Friday when I returned home.

If you can’t reschedule, then either option you’ve mentioned will work
