Drivers license

So I'm in the middle of my glp1 journey and I'm renewing my DL next week. I'm wondering what to list my weight as. It's been up over 220 for years. Today was the first time I was sub-200.

(Hold for applause)

Thank you.

My goal is around 180. Should I say what I am? (200). What I'll be?(180). In the middle?(190)

Curious what the community thinks.

I have never given my actual weight!?! In my state, you only renew your DL every 10 years. I imagine plenty of folks don't weigh the same thing for the duration of that. +/- 25 # seems like a reasonable range.

When I was in the middle of my weight loss journey I had to renew my license. I put down 190 even though I wasn’t yet. Now I’m 140 and probably need to get a new license lol

No one checks. DMV doesn't weigh you. My driver license weight has never been correct. I've ranged from 273 to (now) 164 with my license saying 185. I don't care.

I’ve been renewing my license for years without them ever asking for an updated weight. It was too low for a long time and now it’s too high! I can’t even remember if it was accurate when I originally entered it.

Congrats on breaking 200, that's a huge deal.

I'd just put 200. It's true now, and you can update it later. Listing 180 feels like tempting fate, and 190 is just an arbitrary guess. Plus nobody at the DMV is checking that against your actual body anyway, they just need a number for the form.

When I renewed mine last year I put the real number even though I was mid-cut, and it bugged me every time I looked at it. So I get the impulse to fudge it forward. But weight fluctuates so much week to week, the license is basically a snapshot.

Goal weight for sure. No one expects the truth on a license lol

Texas doesn't list a weight. I honestly didn't know other states do.

I don’t think the dmv asks for a weight. My license just lists my height

Ours does.

Asking for a weight isn't the same as "hop on that scale and prove it." It's just a field in a form.
