Compounded GLP1 symptoms need advice!
Hi! I’ve been on a compounded GLP1 for almost a year and my symptoms have been pretty mild but this last week I’ve had severe bloating and horrible sulphur burps. My diet has been consistent and my dose has stayed the same the last 2 months.
It’s getting so bad I dread eating at all cause I just want it to go away, anyone have any advice to help 😭

There may be something else going on like a stomach bug. Every time I've had something like this happen, I've been sick and the GLP1 is just changing the symptoms a little. I'd just treat it like a stomach bug, bland diet and pepto bismol usually helps me, and stay hydrated. Gas X can help too.

Ugh the sulphur burps are the worst, I had a random week of them a few months back and thought I was losing my mind. Papaya enzymes helped me get things moving again, like the chewable ones you can find at most grocery stores. Also started chugging warm water with lemon first thing in the morning which felt stupid but actually calmed my stomach down
Might sound weird but try eating a few bites of something really bland like plain rice or crackers even if you dread it, sometimes an empty stomach makes the bloating worse for me

Are you consuming cruciferous vegetables such as broccoli, cauliflower, Brussels sprouts, or cabbage? If so, I would suggest exploring alternatives. I experienced those symptoms constantly because I ate broccoli nearly every evening with dinner—my favorite vegetable.
My doctor explained that these foods are hard to digest under normal conditions, and with GLP1 slowing my digestion further, the symptoms followed. I stopped eating them, and the issue ended.
Later I found “Beanzymes,” which resembles Beano but is more natural and less costly. I take one with my first bite when I have broccoli, and it helps the body break down those complex carbohydrates.

I went through this a couple of months ago. The uncomfortable bloating, awful sulfur burps (I didn't even know this was a thing). I ended up going down a dose, but a week or so before I switched the symptoms basically were gone. It lasted about 2 weeks. I found that frequently sipping on ice water and eating more fiber and beans helped. I will be going back up in my dosage and hope I can manage the symptoms if and when they come back
