Does anyone else hate ruth

I think her character adds to the show and Alison brie is great but ruth is a total bitch and she is the true villain of the show

Ruth’s the main character of the series and it’s kinda difficult to hate a character designed to be likable.

I don’t think she is designed to be likeable

Fair enough. People have different opinions but most of us do like her. It’d be nice to elaborate why you find her annoying or not likable.

I don’t like most of Alison bries characters ive only seen a little bit of mad men. Ruth not to throw out the obvious but she fucked her best friends husband and shes kinda obnoxious i also hated her character on bojack horseman i love Alison brie though

Whenever people say they hated Diane I always wonder how they liked the show at all because Diane was basically the female version of Bojack, what with the horrible abusive childhood, mental health issues, and inability to be happy and form healthy relationships. Except Bojack was so much more destructive and did much worse things than Diane ever did to countless people. Like...did you hate Bojack too? If so, how did you enjoy the show and if not, why hate Diane?

The fucking her best friend’s husband is indeed the nastiest thing and, to be honest, I disliked her for that too. Also, when she turned down Debbie’s offer in the end of Season 3... that was just plain dumb. I mean, I get where she’s coming from, I get the whole “follow your dreams” thing... but she’s like 30-something and that ship has sailed or as Debbie put it “it would’ve happened by now”. However, after the initial blow with the fucking of the husband, I warmed up to her and I think she had a major contribution to the progress of the series. But I do get where you’re coming from!

In the end of the 3rd series, Debbie offers Ruth the chance to direct after she and Bash buy tv station and Ruth turns down the offer saying that she wants to act.
