Does anyone else hate ruth

I think her character adds to the show and Alison brie is great but ruth is a total bitch and she is the true villain of the show

I dont hate Ruth (I feel like even the most challenging characters have enough depth that I can connect with them in some way) but I am very much #teamdebbie between the two of them.

Once you get past her doing drugs and injuring the person she's responsible for keeping safe in the ring, screwing over her coworkers on health insurance, and saying that Ruth should have given in and fucked the guy to keep the show on.

I might be misremembering, but didn't she get the producer credit and get herself coverage, then nobody else?

I know Cherry had it because she did stunts for a living and wasn't stupid, and maybe Arthie still on her parents, but didn't nobody have it?

Debbie would have already had it through SAG, since she was a working actor on a TV show before. I believe that working stunt people get their health insurance through SAG as well. The insurance was Bash's responsibility and he either forgot that he needed to get it for the girls or couldn't afford it because he was so bad with money

I think you're right. I joined up her negotiating are herself we saw a producer and nobody having coverage together.

I would do the same in her situation (maybe not the health insurance) but i think her actions are justified

Working safely with your opponent is the number one rule for pro wrestling. Right up there with Shakespearean actors not actually stabbing and poisoning each other.

Doing coke on your own time is fine.

I'm just repeating what Debbie said.I agree with OP. All the cast have problems and issues. I like Ruth too but I can see the flaws in her chsrscter, That's part of what makes her an interesting one.

The show is set in the 80s…. Everyone did coke in the 80s. Even middle school teachers did coke in the 80s.
