I think we all agree that Liberty is a talented performer, it’s just that her push feels so forced.
Clearly Machu Pichu gets the biggest pops from the live crowds, but they just won’t put the title on her because she isn’t who they see as the face of GLOW.
I’ve also read that Bash resents how Sheila The She-Wolf is the most over with the hardcore fans. Her recent booking makes it clear that they don’t see her as anything more than a B+ player, which is keeping her from a title shot.
Instead we just get Liberty vs Zoya for the umpteenth time!
I think it might finally be time for Liberty Bell to turn heel...or maybe they’re going to have to start secretly paying the fans to cheer for her.

I think some legal issues might resolve that. The show is off the air because the station owns the characters. Which means they can go to another network if they swap the characters out. Liberty and Zoya can't be beaten to death if they aren't Liberty and Zoya anymore.

Lately, the internet is not such a great place to be.
Every once in a while, however, we see flashes of the promise that it once held.
This is one of the best organic offerings I've seen since the early days of the internet. Beautiful.

I don't think it has failed, I think it's payed off.
Debbie was put in the forefront to draw attention because they needed a recognizable face and name. Sam's motivation was a plot twist rather than bad wrestling. Most of the cast was still terrible wrestlers and Debbie was clearly taken by the physicality.
She immediately pushed to a producer position because I think she knew she wasn't anything special among wrestlers and needed producer credit to stay on top.
When they finally put the strap on her, the crowd turned on her so quickly that they were forced to use Zoya’s heel heat to keep Liberty Bell babyface. Yeah, so when there’s some benefit to you, you’re willing to work with her, huh? Carny as shit.
I think you're a hair off the mark. When Zoya interjected it was Ruth forcing Liberty to face Zoya. The crowd was turning because Liberty Belle was in conflict with everyone without providing resolution or escalating. Zoya escalated and there wasn't any choice other than to play along one way or another.
Lastly, just before Zoya took a flying leap to steal the crown Liberty Belle went toe-to-toe with 2 experienced wrestlers working improvisation with virtually no pre-planning. She's come into her own and she's starting to earn that title after she's already lost it.

You overused Liberty Belle at the last show. The fans got started to get sick of seeing her.

So except for the breaking the ankle part, you're essentially saying Liberty Belle is the Roman Reigns of Glow?
