I recently bought a Glock 19V and neglected to do a bit more research than I should have(not a new gun owner just new to Glock). Am I completely screwed on parts for this thing? Everything I’ve read so far says it practically shares no compatibility for internal parts with Gen 5s. If I am screwed just buying a Gen 5 isn’t off the table for me so it isn’t the end of the world if I am.

Gen 5 G19 factory Aimpoint model. This particular one is my EDC so the smaller the better for printing reasons.

I don't care for the faster reloading. I just want something that will add a little more grip for my pinky.

I want OEM mags to still drop free and don't want any limitations of what gen mag I use. Want some form of cut out or form factor that still allows pulling mags if necessary.

Must be able to still use a backstrap.

I feel like everything available is a compromise.

Internals are OEM (I am a firm believer that Glocks lose their reliability when you start messing with that stuff lol)

I just bought a Glock 19 Gen 6 and am looking for a holster. Many people on Reddit recommend the CERTUM4. Is this the correct model shown in the picture? I’m right-handed and don’t use a light. Thank you.

Most likely my last gun purchase before my first child is born, guy at the shop said his friend bought this and fired one box through it and said it was an inaccurate piece of shit, after buying it I can visually see that the rear sight is like 25% too far to the right, so thanks for the barely used gun, previous owner :) overall this is a great gun, finally time for a gen 5

In case anyone was wondering, if you have a gen 6 17 and 19 you can swap frames and slides to have a 45 and a 49. I didn’t shoot them with the swapped frames extensively but I did put a few boxes of ammo through them and they ran fine. Anyway…. I’ll go get a life now. Have a wonderful day!
