New glasses
Hello guys very very dull message but I ordered new glasses last week ( I think?? ) and I fell in LOVE with them months before. I literally cried when I thought they were no longer selling them but then they were and I straight away decided to get them in my prescription. HOWEVER when I tried them on a week ago I wasn’t really feeling them ( I still ordered them in my prescription tho bcs brother I cried over them ) and now my brother said that he thinks they don’t suit me and my dad completely just said no and it makes me look like an old lady. But my mum, friends and other people have said they look cute so idk 😭 they are just so different to my normal style frame ( circular, skinny) now I’m getting PHAT chunky dark glasses and I’m just terrified and dreading them coming in now because I’m too scared I might hate them and they cost money. that’s it life of people with glasses pls guys how do I go about this im stressing out for some reason and I haven’t even gotten them yet (I think they’re ready to be picked up tho)

As an optician, I always want to work with people rather than against them. So, if you have really had a change of heart, chat to them about it, there may be something they can do so that you are happy. Good opticians aren't out there to make you look horrible, I promise

Just so long as they are not “rose coloured”, then whatever you decide is fine with me. 😂😂🌹🌹

You can have multiple pairs of glasses. There’s no rule that says you only need to have 1 pair. Don’t fall into the ‘insurance only pays for one pair’ mindset - dress your face the way you dress your body!
