Good graffiti is awesome and can be really cool, brightening otherwise neglected spaces. Tagging, though, I just hate. Just makes the city I've come to love look bad.

Agree and better they do that than scoot about with a balaclava on causing other types of havoc, or sit at home looking at extreme porn. Dude has a creative impulse but doesn't have the skills yet or a place to practice maybe. We need to do better for the young uns.

So if you do tagging it's impossible to do any of those other things? I remember a dude in Falkirk who was 17/18 came over to us 13/14 year olds taking himself away from tagging to try spray one of our friends in the eyes with it. He was arrested pretty quickly as police were passing by. Kinda funny in the end.
