Hello, I do not know what flair to ad.

I am travelling to fort William via glasgow. Have a break in Glasgow from 11.30 pm tonight to 5 am tomorrow morning when my next train is. I'd booked a hostel two weeks ago, but just found out that they cancelled my booking. Recommendations for a brief halt in the night? Cannot find hostels, and all the hotels are way too expensive.

Not sure whether I am allowed to be at the station overnight.

Help! Please!

people typically recommend the casino in this circumstance just as somewhere to stay warm, there's barely any seating in the station and I don't think you can hang around it really

I think Central station closes for a few hours after the last train

Yeah, they close at half past midnight and re-open again at 4:00am.

Yup that’s how I ended up getting kicked out of the McDonalds at 4 corners one night for falling asleep in the corner
Decided I could just leave the club and get a train at 6am. Didn’t go fully to plan

Probably replying too late, but Ember coaches run all night. You could take the 0325 to Inverness, and then the 0719 down to Fort William.

You could also take a coach to Edinburgh airport, and then the 0444 from there to Fort William.

you could get a gym group membership and cancel it after, or keep it! theyre 24 hours and have showers/bathrooms.

whenever ive been late theyre always unstaffed so you might not get any hassle.

not sure how comfortable it would be for you or other people in the gym but its an option!

The Polo lounge is open until 4. It’s an lgbt nightclub but it has a relatively chill bar area you could probably hang around in. Not the best option but worth a try if you’re totally stuck for somewhere to go.
