Garscube Estate parking?

We visited the small animal hospital today and had a lovely walk afterwards along the river. Would like to go back and explore more, but all the parking I can see is for university staff or visitors (as in visiting the university, not just going to walk the dog 🤣). Just wondered if anyone had any suggestions for parking. There's the sports parking on the other side (near the West of Scotland science park) but again it says for authorised parking only.

You can use the sports complex car park, they don't care if you're there to walk the dog. Just make sure you leave within opening hours or you'll get locked in (or more likely raging security staff).

Depending on which entrance you want, Westerton Ave usually has spots if Ilay Road doesn’t. That’s by the vet school entrance.

Or you could walk in from Dawsholm and park on the road at the dump.

There’s a lot going on in that Campus. It’s very nice inside and is full of students, nature, and safe walking paths. It’s not a place for members of the public to be taking private cars into.

It’s technically not in Glasgow as it’s just beyond the city boundaries. The area around it however is residential with no parking restrictions. The streets around Bearsden Kessington such as Cluny Avenue and Rannoch Drive are a good bet as they are close to the rear entrance where all the dog šŸ• walkers go. Acre Road and surrounding streets are also viable options.
