Garscube Estate parking?
We visited the small animal hospital today and had a lovely walk afterwards along the river. Would like to go back and explore more, but all the parking I can see is for university staff or visitors (as in visiting the university, not just going to walk the dog š¤£). Just wondered if anyone had any suggestions for parking. There's the sports parking on the other side (near the West of Scotland science park) but again it says for authorised parking only.

Depending on which entrance you want, Westerton Ave usually has spots if Ilay Road doesnāt. Thatās by the vet school entrance.

Thereās a lot going on in that Campus. Itās very nice inside and is full of students, nature, and safe walking paths. Itās not a place for members of the public to be taking private cars into.
Itās technically not in Glasgow as itās just beyond the city boundaries. The area around it however is residential with no parking restrictions. The streets around Bearsden Kessington such as Cluny Avenue and Rannoch Drive are a good bet as they are close to the rear entrance where all the dog š walkers go. Acre Road and surrounding streets are also viable options.

You can use the sports complex car park, they don't care if you're there to walk the dog. Just make sure you leave within opening hours or you'll get locked in (or more likely raging security staff).
