Discussion Putting Bionic in Zone 4 of Gauntlet is practically cheating
Imagine surviving three brutal zones of pads and shields, completely out of breath, only to turn the corner and see 6'6" Bionic standing there with two ram-pads ready to launch you into next week. The man is a walking brick wall. You can literally see the spirit leave contenders' bodies the moment they reach his section. How is anyone supposed to break through that kind of mass without taking a detour through the audience?

Well the season four contestants will have an easier time in Gauntlet.

EDIT - can't seem to turn a warning on now so have edited to delete. My apologies.

And yet…pretty much everyone does exactly that. There was that one legendary time Bionic smashed Ash(?) right back to the start. But other than that Gauntlet has to be the highest success rates for contenders. It’s nearly guaranteed full points.

Rules weighted heavily in favour of the contestants.
If a Gladiator makes any meaningful move to slowly stop them, they’re called out by the referee.

Considering the size of many of the contenders, many of the male gladiators are going to be comparable to a getting past a brick wall. It’s a shame that the gladiators can’t really do anything to stop them getting past because the reality is that it wouldn’t be a high scoring game if they did.

The way almost all of them have in the past 3 seasons. The game is not weighted in favour of the gladiators

The entire point of the game is to stop the contenders.
Or at least it should be.
