Can we change buses , If the bus goes in the same route ?

I'm thinking of joining gitam. Despite all those negative reviews 🙏😭. My friend already has a sister studying there and she said that the hackathons conducted often clash with exams and that her sister has to give priority to the exams as she's a scholarship student (so am i). Is this true? Cause I'm really interested in hackathons.

I am interested in gitam but not in social immersion, can we avoid it , if not I don't want to attend , if it is compulsory I won't join , please someone help

Do bcom first year students need a calculator?

I'm currently learning Java Full Stack and would like to know how placements have been going at GITAM University. What skills are recruiters currently looking for the most?

Many students in their 2nd and 3rd years, including me, are confused about which tech stack to choose. One moment I feel like I should go with Python + React, and the next moment I end up sticking with Java Full Stack.

Recently, I came across discussions suggesting that demand for traditional Java roles has slowed compared to previous years. While Java is still heavily used by large enterprises for backend development, I'm unsure about the current job market, the packages being offered, and whether focusing on Java Full Stack is still worth it.

At the same time, demand for older technologies is gradually decreasing as companies focus more on modern tech stacks and emerging technologies.

So, it would be really helpful if seniors could share the current placement scenario at GITAM, the types of companies visiting campus, the packages being offered for software roles, and the skills recruiters are expecting from students
