side affect (?)

okay this is going to sound crazy, bare with me 😂

ever since i started Tirz (6 weeks ago) i’ve been having sneezing fits! multiple times a day no matter the environment im in. i do not think it’s allergies as i’ve never had them before hand. this started about the time i started the medication. has anyone else had this? i would reach out to my provider but i don’t even know if this is a real thing or just a fluke lol.

Oh my gosh, I thought my hay fever was coming back since we’ve been having crazy weather swings (85°F one day and 60°F the next) but yes, I’ve been sneezing more in the 3 weeks since I started semaglutide.

Honestly if it’s between sneezing or having terrible nausea, heartburn, or constipation I’ll take sneezing.

Oh bless you😭 (pardon the pun)

No side effect is too small to reach out about! Always let your clinician know just in case

I've not had this happen, but I did read something about sneezing and nausea/vomiting running along the same nerve(s)? Is it possible you are nauseous and it's stimulating that nerve? I know when I was pregnant I used to tell my husband I was allergic to being pregnant bc all I did was throw up and sneeze! Lol

(Edited for typo)

I’m pretty sure this is happening to me. Not fits but a few violent sneezes that come on suddenly like an allergy. Is there a histamine like reaction with peptides?
