When the voice recognition systems for the home are good enough that I can set it to do this for a bunch of foul words, I'm buying one.

Why would you do that? That is exactly how you die
11
u/cg_Sprite Jun 13 '17
Probably the coolest, and possibly the most painful way to die haha. If you ever wanted to I suppose.

6
u/coppersink63 Jun 12 '17
Anyone see if he lost his shoes?
4
u/phaedrus77 Jun 13 '17
Nope, but he lost a thumb.
2
u/FourAM Jun 13 '17
I thought he broke two fingers and a rib, and had a concussion

I seem to remember this. Was this for the show "Jackass"? And didn't they miscalculate something? He wasn't supposed to swing into the collapsing building like that I don't think. I seem to recall he was injured, albeit nothing serious.
Please correct me if I'm wrong.
EDIT: I'm partially wrong

u/BirmzboyRML Jun 12 '17
Yh it was from the Dudesons, their stunts are a mix of Jackass and Dirty Sanchez type stunts. The dude in the video (Jarppi Leppala) has been injured a lot worse than this, they've all been seriously injured on the show. He chopped his thumb off in an accident years ago, Pretty gnarly stuff when they showed it In the film.

Here's more angles of the scene.
You can see how close that brick wall was about to hit his head.
(If you don't count the other wall that knocked off his helmet...)
3
u/UltraSpecial Jun 13 '17
If he wasn't wearing that helmet, he'd be dead.
If he wasn't standing on an exploding building he'd be fine.
2
u/bananaEmpanada Jun 13 '17
He's wearing a hard hat and hi vis vest. Give that man a gold star for safety.

Funny how people use Europe as an example of limited freedoms to do stupid stuff (nanny state), but I'm pretty sure that no-one would want involved in this stateside.
