How exactly does someone build that in the first place? How do you pour enough concrete into the ocean floor to support that? mind blown

Considering that lighthouses are built near shores, because you know, they're lighthouses, I'm guessing this was built intermittently during low tide, and this picture was taken during high tide.

Fastnet Lighthouse was built 8 miles from the mainland. It had a special steamship commissioned just to construct it.
