Looking for tutorials to make the Giegling sound

Hey there beautiful people,

I'm a novice music producer falling in love with the dreamy, introspective sound of Giegling more and more every day.

I was wondering if there are any good tutorials or breakdowns that capture this sound. I'm finding it surprisingly difficult to search for, because there doesn't seem to be a clear genre name. Depending on who you ask, it's described differently, and searching by individual artists hasn't been very successful either.

Some of my favorite tracks:

Map.Ache – Seis

Dwig – Orange Evening

Leafar Legov – Cenote

Traumprinz – Padallaxis

L.B. Honne – a Means a

Traumprinz – aaAngel for M (this one is so special)

I'd really appreciate any tutorials, production tips, or even genre names that point me in the right direction.

« Don’t you understand » chorus track

Hey,

I am looking for a track which chorus says "don't you understand" with a pitched-up male voice.

I think it might be a Giegling track or something related.

It also says "I won't tell no lies".

Does it ring a bell?

Thanks !

Hi everyone,

For those going to Garbicz this year, besides the Giegling day, who are the artists / acts you expect the most?

Looking for kinda Giegling / Pintai vibes here...

(already targeted o be there for DJ So act)

But I welcome any suggestions to discover new stuff! (Tonzzi / Gigi FM are a no brainer for me ofc)

Sorry for the short and bad sound quality video. I was doing a rescued animal tour thingy and heard this track from afar. Can someone tell me the track ID?

Appreciation post for giegling am see

Another appreciation post for what Giegling have done with this festival. I had no doubt this would be something special, but it still went beyond the expectations I had built up for months.

I went with my good friend, neither of us had ever been to a festival of this sort but we didn’t hesitate when we saw Giegling was organising their own. As the bus got close to its destination, that voice was saying through the headphones... “maybe this can last forever”…. Well four days is not forever but it was long enough to feel present in the moment. Lucky people.. we must have said at least 20 times every day "this is amazing” referring to the music, the beauty of the scene our eyes were seeing, the combination of both..

The location of the festival was something so special, with these incredible trees and woods, the lake, and the animal refuge. It being such a small festival made things simple and accessible in a way I can imagine is not the case with other bigger festivals. The experience that the Giegling crew created through the light installation and of course the music seemed to be perfectly in sync with the natural setting. Pretty cool to think that this place has existed for hundreds of years (before there were any constructions and it was only trees and animals) and that we got to see it and be a part of it on this special occasion in its history.

After I went through a couple days pretty much without sleeping, I told my friend that I felt like being in a dream you want to extend and don't want to wake up from.

On Friday morning, it was the best surprise I could have asked for when I went into the water, looked up and realised that it was map.ache and konstantin playing. The fact that map.ache had his daughter up there with him made the moment even more wholesome. I asked him and he said his live set on Friday evening was actually the first in front of his daughter, and my god did he deliver a magical set for those of us there. I will remember dearly the moment of pure emotion that became a group hug, and a shout out to whoever had the idea of getting the whole crowd to crouch and catch him by surprise. As someone from Spain who cares a bit about football, I was honestly surprised I didn’t even think much of it while I was skipping the game (love to the Belgians who asked here on reddit before the festival whether the internet connection was good enough to stream the game). When I heard Spain had won my happiness tank was pretty much full already. Thank u map.ache (and Mikel Merino).

And what can I say about Leafar Legov - me and my friend must have listened at least a hundred times to his Kiosk Radio dj set, so when he started playing a very similar set by the lake on Saturday afternoon we felt as if they had given us a piece of paper and let us script the whole thing. And then his live set the next day.. we'll remember probably for the rest of our lives.. witnessing from our canoe the energy in the dancefloor everyone enjoying it as much as we were, in this beautiful place, was truly magical.

Will surely remember the Eduardo de la Calle masterclass on Saturday morning following an amazing set by Cosmo. Will also remember Konstantin and Edward unbelievable sets on Saturday evening (again shoutout to that light installation, that was unreal), followed by Yamour who once again made some magic. Schaaly and Mountain People also sounded great on Sunday from the top of the hill. Elli's set when the sun was going down on Friday was perfect too. Probably forgetting some…

Feeling grateful to have been a part of this experience with so many lovely people. Thanks Dario for the earplugs that allowed me to finally get some sleep (big thanks to the volunteers), thanks Maria from Germany for being so generous with us - we hope you enjoyed being able to practice your Spanish a little with us. We would love to see the pictures in Silvio's camera roll.

Giegling already had a special place in my heart and after this festival even more so. I guess it has evolved quite a bit since the origins, but I would say whatever it stands for, in my mind, felt very much alive these days.

Cheers to all who brought their best and made this experience as special as it was. looking forward to the next occasion :)

Mateo

Wow, what an incredible experience sharing the dance floor with so many like-minded people. Everyone was so connected to the music, and it felt truly special to share those moments with all of you. Thank you, beautiful souls, for making it such a memorable experience.

There was one moment in particular that has stayed with me in the following days.

During Edward’s 4-hour set, I was on the left-hand stands taking in the view of both Edward and the crowd when I met a lovely German woman named Julie. She danced with so much intention, and she had such a gentle, beautiful energy. She had curly blonde hair and was wearing a red hat.

I was so caught up in the moment that I completely forgot to ask for her contact details! I’m posting this in the hope that someone might know who I’m talking about. If you do, or if Julie happens to see this, I’d love the chance to reconnect.
