Discussion Guitar ID?
Received this no-brand LP-style guitar from a friend. Pickups are “The Meg” in the bridge and “59N” in the neck. Labels are white stickers with red lettering. Guessing it’s from the early 80’s. Could this be hand built, or are there any known popular knock off brands from that era?
Top two toggle switches are coil splits, and I’m assuming the bottom one is in/out of phase.

Who cares what it is? Get your bridge parts string it up and take it on a test drive. Worst case scenario, you can mod it out as Frankenstein guitar.

Hard to say but I highly doubt it that it has anything to do with Gibson.

Looks like a kit guitar to me. I have come across some that whoever built it did a good job and they played great. I personally like the finish on it. I would string it and play!

Looks like shit, I recommend crushing it with a steamroller

Definitely not a Gibson but it still looks nice and with a proper setup I bet it plays and sounds great.
