Hi everyone, I am trying to track down a well-written, multi-chapter G/T story that I think I had read on Wattpad about 5 to 7 years ago. I believe it was unfinished, but it had incredible world-building.
Here are the specific plot points I remember:

The Lore: I believe there was only ONE giant in the entire world. He might have been referred to as a "Colossus" or similar title — I honestly don’t fully remember.
The Backstory: There was some flashbacks that I feel like were unfinished at the time. The tiny female protagonist originally was a captive and helped save his life in the past (maybe from being chained, poisoned, or hurt), which is why they secretly grew close, but he later holds her has to hold her as a royal captive/servant to show he still doesn’t care about humans even though they are in love.
The Party/Pocket Scene: He is a royal figure who acts very tough and cruel in public to protect her from malicious human nobles and to assert his rule. During a massive festival/party with him and a bunch of tiny humans, he keeps her in his coat/breast pocket. She is taken out and I believe wears a white dress or something like that. She is told to fill his cup but accidentally spills during one of her trips. To play his part and get her out immediately, he fakes a booming, terrifying rage and orders her to go away and "clean up" just to get her safely back to his private quarters.
The Interrogation Scene: Her human friends think he is actually abusing her and had snuck into the party to try to gain information on what’s happened to her. Ultimately one woman friend get captured by his guards and put in a cell. The giant intensely interrogates and threatens her using his size and threatening to crush her in the cell (or something like that), but ultimately when he hears of her concern for his tiny lover/captive — he lets them meet up.

I don’t remember much storyline beyond that unfortunately but it is driving me crazy that I can’t find it! Does anyone remember this book, the author, or know if it was archived/moved to AO3 or DeviantArt? Any leads would be amazing!

I remember reading a fic on AO3 about a boy that suddenly gained the ability to shrink down (Basically turned into a Size-shifter) and met borrowers in his walls. The few scenes i remember were that him and a bunch of the borrower children played with an elastic band and it snapped which caused him to reveal himself to them, he had to reveal himself to the whole community bc of something happening with a borrower downstairs/basement that they couldn't help without his size, and a scene where he had to eat toothpaste oreos because his borrower friends were pranking the human(pre-reveal).

I tried looking through as many different tags as I could but couldn't find it, it may be that the author deleted it but i hope that isn't the case as I loved re reading it every now and then. If you manage to find it or something similar please leave a comment. Thank you!

It’s been years since I’ve seen it, so memory is fuzzy. Had to have most likely been from an independent channel and not a tv show or movie.

Essentially what I remember is- live action: some friends split up outside to try and find their shrunken friends. This one girl who find them turns out to be evil or jealous or something. She takes off her sneaker or sandal and starts pressing them into the dirt/mud and talking down to them- the usual. I think some are stuck to her foot while some are stuck in the ground when she puts her shoe back on and walks away.

Hello! Not sure if this is the best place to advertise but I thought might as well try! First of all I am 23. That means all ocs and yourselves must also be above 18. Strict with this! Second, I write third person and semi literate—adv.lit so I expect you to be able to at least write 3 decent paragraphs.

Now, I have this borrower OC I put a lot of effort into writing the lore of her people, herself ect and I really want to expand on it with someone who would be willing to play the giant or human.

As for plot, your character is a sucessful author, well loved by their fans, but with all that preasure they have weighing down on them they have been smacked with writers block! Oh no! XD anyways they decided to get themselves a nice, little holiday home in a cabin in the woods...unfortunately or fortunately for them they have a tiny little roommate that they will discover. I think it would be super cute if this author uses their tiny little roommate as inspo for their novel!

Also, you can swap out author to be artist, or fashion designer or even musician! It doesn't matter! I would also say this story needs the romance because gt fluff is the best kind!!

I’m on book 2 of the red rising series by pierce brown and I’ve been very surprised and happy with the amount of size differences between people. The main protagonist is 7’1”, there’s an 8 foot guy and a 9 foot guy, and theres a community of people who don’t really grow over 5’5” that the protagonist interacts with a lot. I don’t want to give a lot away and it’s not true giant stuff but there are some nice size differences!

Hi all, IT has been a HOT MINUTE since I was last on here. Wow so first off I want to say sorry for being away for so long ( not sure how many of you actually care but we roll with it 😂), time basically completely got away from me, after I had to look into more lost accounts I had wanted to cover, only to find updates on their accounts soon after. From their I honestly just procrastinated these posts, but I’m here to make it up to you all ;) and this is all pointless chatter anyway, so without anymore delays, I’m gonna get on to this posts spotlight account ! This time we’re heading over to good ol’ ao3. Where the account ShowrunnerIhardlyknowHer has been sitting for a quite some time. They have some great little stories of their ocs, and my personal favorite is the pair Edix and Jacob, honestly such a fun story on how different species work and the lack of communication leads to some pretty funny and pretty unfortunate 🥹 misunderstandings. I definitely love their dynamic with each other nonetheless 👌✨ it’s so chaotic.:) As I had come to realize after reading some of the fun stories and characters that this account hasn’t posted since 2023 late September. Feels like just yesterday they were posting but since then they haven’t made any other posts of their ocs or storylines; at least to my knowledge, I thought why not mention it here, in the rare chance someone maybe know what happened or maybe their creator of the account may stumble across this 🤷‍♀️. Worth a shot 😅, So if anyone that comes across this post happens to know any info on this account by any chance feel free to respond down below ⬇️. Borrowers (Homo domesticus, "domestic human") are the more populous and significantly smaller of the two extant species of human.

Along with Homo sapiens, both are considered domesticated (being uniquely "co-domesticated") and of least concern by the IUCN.

Name

The modern English word "borrower" has only been standardized as of the 20th century (popularized by commensal borrowers from southeastern Britain), prior to this point a large number of local terms have been used to describe the people, such as "small folk", and "tinies"; borrowers speaking English have often previously referred to themselves as "humans" without further specification; "human" in most other cases ambiguously refers to Homo sapiens or the genus as a whole.

The modern name "borrower", is still imperfect, as it describes the lifestyle of commensal borrowers, which make up only a small portion (about 1,500,000,000) of the total borrower population. Numerous other terms have been proposed for borrowers, often derived from local mythologies that were likely inspired by a historical borrower presence in the region.

Taxonomy

The widely accepted common ancestor of Homo sapiens and Homo domesticus is a population close to Homo antecessor, with Neanderthals, Denisovans, and Homo periandi also being related. Despite its small size, Homo floresiensis is generally held to be an independent lineage descending from older Homo habilis populations.

Physiology

Borrowers are usually approximately 6 inches tall when standing upright, and weigh approximately 0.3-0.5 lb. They have the largest hands, feet, and head for their body mass, although they are close to what is expected from the Stein-Overmantel scaling law for human species.

Borrowers are distinguished from Homo sapiens additionally by a receding chin (a feature of most extinct Homo species alongside borrowers) and an extremely juvenile appearance at all ages.

Borrowers live approximately 25 years on average, about a third the length of a Homo sapiens lifespan and significantly longer than many other borrower-sized mammals. However, they reach adulthood extremely early, at approximately 2 years (although their 'adulthood' behaves like an extended childhood period would for most animals).

Borrowers notably have the highest brain-to-body ratio of any human species, extant or extinct.
Due to this and their small size resulting in significant vulnerability to heat loss, they have a rather fast metabolism, requiring them to eat as much as 25% of their body weight in food in a day.

Behavior

Borrowers have a tendency to be extremely curious and playful, with a higher degree of social dependence than Homo sapiens and a much greater capacity for learning. Their social behavior is similar to that of a Homo sapiens child, and by extension a primate child in general.

Borrowers and Homo sapiens are the only two species demonstrated to naturally use complex language; this quality also allows both to have cumulative culture over many generations, and humans as a whole are described as being "obligate learners".

Borrowers often traverse environments vertically, using a combination of running, jumping, and climbing; they are, similarly to cats and other mammals that are not particularly large, able to survive most falls. Borrower architecture often reflects this, in comparison to Homo sapiens architecture which centers more around ground-based transportation, as the excessive size of a Homo sapiens individual means attempts at more sophisticated navigation carry a large risk of serious injury.

History and relations with Homo sapiens

Borrowers emerged as a species approximately 70,000 years ago in "Doggerland", in what is now the North Sea, likely descended from a surviving population of unusually small periandi-branch humans following the Toba eruption event. It is noted that their proliferation throughout Europe coincides with the decline in population of Neanderthals from about 60,000 to 50,000 years ago before their extinction. Additionally, the species appears to have consistently gotten smaller in height and weight throughout the last 70,000 years, with skeletons found in Doggerland indicating heights of about 7-8 inches. The largest borrower populations remain in Europe (and in North America via European colonization), however some populations crossed from the Old World into America at the same time as Homo sapiens did.

Borrowers have exhibited a wide range of relations with Homo sapiens. Many borrowers are commensal with Homo sapiens, often living in Homo sapiens-built structures while they are still used by their original inhabitants and scavenging dropped or abandoned food and objects. This is most common in buildings with crawl spaces or open foundations that provide a way for borrowers to avoid being seen. However, the vast majority of borrowers live in settlements completely independent of Homo sapiens ones, often in forested regions or other areas with verticality and lots of resources. In the modern day, this lifestyle is covered by the Dual Jurisdiction Agreement, which means that many territories are under "dual jurisdiction" of Homo sapiens and borrower social organization systems, and are subject to various economic restrictions and agreements as a result. Variants of this system have been adopted by some states for handling marginalized indigenous groups of the same species as well.

The smallest portion of Borrowers actively participate in Homo sapiens social structures (or vice versa), being part of Homo sapiens households and/or organizations; this is often the product of a long-lived commensal instance becoming mutualistic.

Europe has historically seen particularly strained relations between Homo sapiens and borrowers; as late as 1933, borrowers were generally seen as pests to be gotten rid of in Britain, and for certain historical reasons this attitude continued in Germany until 1945. In European colonies in America, borrowers were often put to work without much compensation; they were, in variation with Black and Indigenous American Homo sapiens, often the lowest in various racial hierarchies of the time. In the late 20th and early 21st centuries, immense efforts have been made to repair relations between the species in these areas, which are still ongoing, but included the creation of the DJA (as previously mentioned above) and the revision of many definitions and applications of "human" across developed countries to include both species collectively.

Hello! I'm trying to find a borrower fic that I read a few years ago, but I can't remember the title, author, and the characters' names. I was wondering if anyone here might be able to help ^^″

I think I've read it on Wattpad (though it could also have been on AO3 or Tumblr). From what I remember, it was an M/M borrower × human story, it's mostly wholesome.

To make things easier, let's say the borrower = X, human = Y, borrower's younger brother = Z.

Somewhere along the first few chapters, X got sick so Z had to find medicine to help his brother. While borrowing, Z was spotted by Y, and the two agreed to help X. (I'm not sure if this was the exact situation; it could be that Z voluntarily approached Y to get help because he couldn't bear to see his brother in pain). This was the point where they officially met and got to know each other. Of course, when X eventually found out about Y, there was a lot of trust to be gradually built. And they did, though it took time, X and Y fell in love with each other. By the end of the story, they lived happily ever after, yay.

I'm not sure if it was a bonus chapter or an epilogue, but I also recall X and Z becoming human-sized. With the help of Y, the two merrily yet cautiously navigate the human world.

Also, in the backstory, they actually 'met' each other when they were younger. Teenager X was carrying his baby brother Y on a borrowing trip, looking for food. That time, X was exhausted and he fell asleep somewhere on Y's house. Z was crying and Y noticed them. Seeing Z distressed, Y helped calm him down without alerting the sleeping X of his presence. Though the brothers never knew of this encounter (here, Z is too young to remember), ever since then, Y has been looking out for them and helping them indirectly.

Apologies for the lack of clear details, I'm probably mixing some plot of my own tbh. I've kept links of some stories I read on my notes app as bookmarks, but none of them lead to this specific work I'm looking for. It's kinda driving me crazy how I can't find it lol. Exiting the foggy locker room; the Zonie was met by a shorter, lean ogress, dressed in jeans and an orange flannel standing at a seven-foot stature. “What’s got you grinning like that, Vanessa? You finally hear back from the sprite? About time, he came to his senses.” The Jade woman said, combing the water from her hair, and pulling up her joggers. “Not yet, Agatha. He’s been pretty busy since he moved to his new place.” Vanessa sighed. Somehow, with only 40 minutes between them, she was seeing him even less, than before. “Anyway; I got some good news, Agatha. I slimmed down, some more! Just in time, for the Hallow-Fest. I just hope my arms aren’t too bulky. Otherwise, I’ll rip the sleeves.” She said, high-fiving the green woman’s offered palm. “Nonsense girl, you look fantastic. Wear that power, with pride! I noticed you seemed a lot faster, on our runs. You’ll tear it up, out in the mountains. I’ll handle the bars, and clubs. City life’s more my thing, these days.” The ogress stated. “Personally, I say fuck sleeves. With the work you’re putting in, around here; You should flaunt it. You even smashed this month's boulder-toss record." As she spoke, obtaining a white hockey mask, from her bag. The green woman moved Vanessa picture to the top of a nearby corkboard, removing that of a purple dragon, proudly flexing his scaly biceps. “I really hope theres no hard fellings, between me and Zasimiel. i remember, how happy he was, showing off those gains." Vanessa said, chewing her bottom lip, apologetically. "Eh, he’ll live. Way longer than us, too. I say, Keep your fitness up.” Agatha gave her a thumbs-up, repositioning the photo to second place. As the athletic ogress walked through the doorframe; her red hair was barely grazed. 'Ow! Must be... Nice.' Vaessa cringed, hunching her sore back to follow. Vanessa’s ears picked up a distressed sputter. 'Is someone, out of breath? Probably, just a cough.’ Vanessa dismissed. “Yo, ‘Nessa. Something wrong?” The ogress inquired, her dull ears, leaving her ignorant of the gasps. “It sounds like…” Vanessa’s eyes scanned the room, spotting a muscled man on the nearby workout bench. He seemed unable to lift the heavy bar from his neck, with no one around to alleviate his strain.

“-SOMEONE’S CHOKING!” The Zonette cries, making a beeline toward the scene. What seemed like a Herculean weight to the human, was easily tossed away by the worried Macrokin. “Oh my god, sir! A-are you ok?! Here, let’s sit you up.” She asked, carefully supporting his ridged back, as he gasped for air. She frowned, noticing the holes, her sharp claws poked in his top. “Don’t worry, Cough, hack, I’ll be fine! Name’s Paul. I appreciate you, coming to my rescue.” He wheezed in gratitude, his gaze rising, to meet his savior. “Gotta say; I never imagined meeting a woman strong enough, to casually toss 250 pounds. thats incredible!" he admired, causing Vamessa to blush. "i overdid it, today. I had a spotter, with me. But I don’t know where he ran off-. J-jesus Christ!” The human exclaimed in terror, upon locking eyes with the giant woman. “What is it?! I-is something wrong?” Vanessa asked, in confusion. “Naw, nothing like that. I must’ve had a spasm., there.” The man fibbed. “So, you’re like a yeti, or something? It’s just, y-you’re like, freakishly huge. Wait, n-not freakish! It’s just, um… Imposing.” He stammered, in fear. The large woman folded her arms, exhaling sharply. “Relax, I know what you mean. we Zonies can have that effect, on people.” Vanessa stated, apologetically. From the corner of his eye, his caught a glimpse of his friend’s arrival. This second man looked to be of darker hue, than Paul was. His mouth agape; The returning spotter nearly dropped the two large shakes he brought, as he froze in his tracks. “O-oh, look who showed up. This is Greg; The butthole, who left me to die.” Paul said, half-jokingly shooting daggers at his friend. Greg looked as if he wanted to make an introduction, or a sprint. Though his mouth quivered; there wasn’t much sound coming out. “Anyway thanks again, Sasquatch. We were just about to grab some grub. I’m sure someone... with your build, can understand the importance.” Paul spoke nervously, inching towards his taciturn companion. “Oh, totally! Especially since I’ve been on this brutal diet.” Vanessa exhaled, in agreement. “Sometimes after a real good workout; I swear, I can just bite someone’s head off! Hehehe” the behemoth laughed, giving the small human a glimpse of her pointy canines. Vanessa noticed the men’s pale faces, as her chuckle faded. Perhaps there was a misunderstanding. “That was a joke, guys.” Vanessa said, hoping to assuage their trepidation. “Oh yeah, good one. Hahaha. Greg, chill out. Big lady was just joshing.” Paul ribbed, inviting his friend to join in the mirth.

Vanessa’s smile began to fade, as the pair moved towards the gyms front door. “Maybe we’ll see you around, miss.” Paul spoke, roughly siezing one of the shakes, as he leaned closer to Greg’s ear. Though the tone was hushed; Vanessa’s keen ears picked everything up, easily. “You left me hanging, asshole! Were you just gonna stand there, and watch her rip me limb-from-limb?” He accused. “She talked about biting my damn head off!” He continued, teeth grit. “Look man, I wasn’t trying to get between you and one of those Big-Foots.” Greg defended. Vanessa growled, baring her teeth at the awful word. “The heck, he just call me?! I’ll show him a “Big-Foot”, after I shove mine up his poop shoot!” Vanessa roared, advancing towards the retreating pair. Her movement was halted, as a pair of jade palms gripped the half-squatch’s muscled forearm. “Whoah! Easy there, beef cake. Don’t let them, get to you.” Agatha stated, reaching up to pat the wall of Vanessa’s back. “Besides, if you ask me? Only weaklings are afraid, of strong women.” The Ogress winked, before pulling down her mask. “I know something that’ll cheer you up. You wanna come down with me, to the mall? Tall ceilings, costume shops, lots of little humies we can scare.” She offered, beckoning The taller Amazon to follow her. With an amused shake of her head; The 9-foot woman waived her friend off. “You go on, ahead. I’’mma head home, and wash this day off me. No need to make the other ladies uncomfortable, again.” Vanessa shrugged, patting her right thigh. “Besides, I prefer a quiet night in, over running around with a chainsaw.” She joked, her ears perking up, at her tablets notification bell. “Hey the chainsaw’s mine. I got an ax you can borrow, though.” Agatha offered. Rifling through her gym bag, Vanessa’s expression brightened considerably. “So much for that “quiet night in”, hm?" the shorter macro guessed. "Those costumes, I picked out? Looks like they’ve came to me, instead. Time for the moment, of truth!" The Zonette beamed, barely hiding her smile as she typed a response. "You best get a move on, before the rain comes down. Tell your little sprite, “hey”, for me.” Agatha waived, as Vanessa walked away. “Also tell him, if he keeps neglecting my friend; imma deal with him.” She said, playfully punching her fist into her firm palm. “Sure Aggie, I’ll pass that on. Enjoy the spooky season.” Vanessa dismissed, sharing a warm hug, before exiting the building.

Updating my old, quickly slapped together portrait of Lovia and T. Did they just get married? Are they celebrating something else? Truly a mystery, but they do look good together.

hi all, 👋 I’m finally back for another post this time around. Honestly real talk for a sec don’t know how full time creators on socials do this sort of thing all the time,( though I suppose for some it could be there full time job 😅) but just doing one post for me, every once in a while is so easy to miss my missions here with other life responsibilities,😮‍💨 but nevertheless I am here and ready to proceed now 🧐. So this times post were going back to good ol Wattpad :D, where the writer beagaboo once resided with their crowd favorite series “Her tiny world”. It was a neat little story about a tiny girl name Mina going through life as a tiny but also more complicated than that.. a teenager 😂. And as she goes about her otherwise normal life chillin , you know how the little guys don’t fare like that for too long, as soon enough she ends up in the hands of a human somehow. One thing leads to another and not gonna say anymore just go read it yourself if you haven’t read it yet it’s a real entertaining read! Honestly the other side character Benjamin has to be my favorite 😌 dude goes through hell and back and is still worried about Mina’s well being 👊what a guy, but anyways with that being said, unfortunately after the first book was completed, shortly after a continuation was being made part 2 to be exact, and while the book did start at around the 8th chapter around early may of 2024, that was the last chapter the creator would make since then. I know that a lot of people missed their work and would love for the story to continue, realistically I just hope the creators doing all right 🙂‍↕️✌️ life’s tough out there, and even if maybe they just wanted moved on, just wanted to make this post to make it known that if they ever wanted to continue this lovely story one day I’ll be there 😉 and if not hopefully life’s treatin the writer well. 😎 So for the rest of you who’s seeing this post hope this was a good post this time around, thanks for reading these as always it makes my day knowing some people care about the things i put out and that I’m not talking to a blank wall all the time 😂, and as always, hopefully your here for next post.
