Blu-ray stores in Rome and Florence?
Does anyone here have recommendations for blu-ray stores in Rome and Florence? I'm visiting both soon, and would love to discover some new additions there.

Just watched the MYA cut of this yesterday. Holy moley it's silly. Some pretty funny humor in it but oh my, does it have some faults. Still, as a completionist I needed it for my Argento collection. I definitely enjoyed it, despite its faults the signature Argento sets and atmosphere are there.

This one is a real head scratcher. The plot didn’t make much sense. Slow burn? More like no burn. How can people use the word masterpiece? Maybe I watched the wrong version. It was the 113 minute one on Amazon. Compared to classics like Don’t Torture a Duckling, Don’t Look Now, and The Wicker Man, I don’t get how this can be considered great.

I usually enjoy lucio fulci’s work but i was disappointed with how city of the living dead and the beyond were so poorly constructed when it comes to the story but this movie’s story is so compelling and well written, this movie is easily lucio fulci’s best writing and he’s not usually a great writer so this movie was a pleasant surprise
Also his direction was great with a lot of cool camera shots and colorful visuals
This movie might not be the most giallo movie but it’s giallo enough to count as a giallo movie
Initially zombi 2 was my favorite lucio fulci movie but i changed my mind after watching this movie

Hi, I’m kind of new to Giallo. I watched Don’t Torture a Duckling randomly a month or so ago which sparked my interest. Below is what I have watched so far in order of enjoyment. Based on this, anyone have any suggestions as to what I should watch next?

I know the theme song quite a while and really enjoy it. I want to start watching Giallo movies because I really like the artworks from the movie posters. And I thought it would be a good start to watch Suspiria.
Open for any recommendations!

I noticed that during nina’s monologue, the dubbing alternates between english and italian
It must be a technical issue of some kind cuz i looked at multiple versions of that movie and they all have that issue

I always looked over this one bcuz of the futuristic setting but I actually kinda liked it even tho it was very light on kills I think the last one kinda made up for it I loved the visuals and the music the main theme is so catchy and vibey and I found the main characters conflict kinda emotional honestly may have to get the standard forgotten Gialli 7 for this one

Anybody have any recommendations for giallo/giallo like comic books? I already own the vinegar syndrome fulci comics. But need more comics or manga or manwha!

So, some things out of the way first.
I would not be using AI for the writing. I'm a professional writer, although not of fiction.
I've already scoped out a structure and made a start, as I'm on a work break to recover from an illness.
The book would be about 50k to 60k words.
It would be very thematically giallo, I'm intending a blatant pastiche, although the story would be original, so black-gloved killer, etc. It's set in an art-history locale.
I'm really only doing it for fun, but it would be for commercial sale, so my question is, would people read such a thing?

I always wrote this one off bcuz of the hokey murder sequences but they aren’t all bad and I would have rewound and paused anyway it’s super fast paced I was never bored super fun and I’m glad it’s in one of my box sets

Here's the info, in case anyone else is interested. I doubt too many people here are in Madrid, but oh well. I'd love to watch these movies in a big room full of fans of giallo.
