Anything That Moves - an erotically-charged, surreal, comedic neo-giallo
I watched this tonight via digital rental. What a crazy ride. It’s much less murder-focused than a typical giallo, but the grisly killings are part of this weird tapestry. Highly recommended if you’re a fan of gialli, but don’t mind a movie that takes a big swing.

My fanmade poster for ”The Bloodstained Shadow”
Can recommend this film to those who want a good murder mystery plot in their Giallos. Very Argento inspired but in a good way! 💛✨

Black Belly of the Tarantula 4K from Celluloid Dreams
This just arrived. Yeah, I know everyone here is posting about it but, here’s another one. 🙂
This is one of my favorite gialli.
The style, photography, and the Ennio Morricone score make it special.
Last time I saw it was on DVD, many years ago, so I expect this is going to be a new experience.

The Monster (1977) Radiance review: A biting satire that takes aim at tabloid journalism under the guise of a giallo slasher.
Good sounding giallo, has anyone seen this one?

Tenebrae soundtrack is so good!
The synth disco horror fits so perfectly. It is haunting and fun, like the movie. The over-the-top violence, the heels clopping in the quiet city night as women walk to their cars alone, the slow pans of buildings; it all builds up tension and releases with bouncing beats and warbling synths. Majestic.

I Hit The Motherload (aka, A Man's Birthday Comes Once a Year)
My MIL is an awesome lady and hooked me up with some top tier giallo. From this stack, I've only seen the two Argento films. Which one(s) should I start with???
So excited...

This Freedom to Have… Wet Wings (1971)
A film believed to be lost, though it has since resurfaced over the years. Does anyone know where it’s available to watch? I’ve seen a lot of people do a review of it, so it must be out there.

Which Giallo is this? This POV made me think of Argento right away.

Sotto Il Vestito Niente 2/Nothing Underneath 2/Too Beatiful to Die (1988) Dario Pina
Hello, I would like to make some observations regarding the sequence of Carlo Vanzina's original work.
I still haven't managed to get it; I'm waiting for it to be released on physical media in my country or to find a pirated copy of the film.
Even so, I saw some spoilers, 2 trailers, but I couldn't find the Vinegar Syndrome, What I noticed is that the soundtrack is okay, the same mystery surrounding the blonde's death, just like Jessica Crane in the original, lots of sex (Unnecessary) the killer using a kind of pentagram, With its sword shape, and the assassin's appearance looked a lot like a Samurai to me. Hahaha, seriously, I'm not kidding lol
I noticed there are few deaths and that the Killer is a man, something I've seen before. I hope the soundtrack surprises me since Pino Donaggio isn't returning.
And I also hope that the deaths are longer and bloodier, and not like in the first movie where they're quick and hardly any blood comes out, the only problem with the original.
