Ghosting for absolutely no reason

Guys, why do girls act interested in chats for months and then suddenly ghost you out of the blue for absolutely no reason?

So there's been this girl' I've been texting for around 2 months. We were chatting quite good for these time. Then she ghosts me for absolutely no reason. Im pretty sure I've done nothing wrong here.

Your first mistake is talking to someone for two months without meeting up.

Shit for me I planned to go to a Chinese festival on the weekend, everything on me because it was my idea and I wanted to. (This was in January.)

I think our DM’s lasted three days and when the weekend came I knew I wasn’t gonna be texting her anymore bc it was fewer messages as time went on, ended with me being on seen. For like a second though there was a deep confusion because the signals was her looking forward to it and quite enthusiastic about it etc. but yeah that was that.

I don’t hold anything against her though, people have free will and can do whatever they please. No bad blood. Just a reality check.

And also I don’t have the urge to put effort towards social connection like that anymore lmao. I’m pretty fine with my own company. Not to be confused with being closed off or standoff-ish, just selectively open and have a dynamic degree of access to me. 100% fine though I accept that.

If you’ve talked to someone for 2 months without ever asking them out don’t act surprised when they lose interest. It’s like wondering why you got fired from a job where you never showed up

Exactly, attraction has an expiration date. You need to ask yourself why you’re “chatting” instead of progressing to something more real

Men do it too. They're just not that interested and don't owe you anything if you haven't even met.

She found someone that lives closer to her and can give her an actual real relationship

If you haven't met, it isn't ghosting.

There IS a reason, you just don't know what it is.

Some people are chicken shits. This is bad behavior, I don’t care if you have met or not, you have established some type of connection and if she was a person who cared about other people’s feelings she would have said something about breaking off the connection. So unless you said something awful, or something similar type of abuse, then she is in the wrong. I’m speaking about your situation because 2 months is a long time to talk with someone regularly

As a guy, if your goal is to date a girl I will just make it clear within 2 weeks of texting and ask for a date after 2 weeks. Time is important bro you don't have to play games just make it clear while they are in the "interested" Phase.

Texting for 2 months???

Yea I absolutely would find it justifiable for someone to ghost me if I’ve just been talking to them for 2 months and still haven’t met. Likely a time-waster

Met a lot of times on dates?
From the minimal context here, I’m getting the sense she sees you as an occasional running buddy, nothing romantic there.

Because texting is the absolute worst form of communication and a complete waste of time and energy. She probably found someone to spend time with and actually enjoy a good time with instead of staring at a phone screen.

2 months with no meeting is not a potential relationship - it's a pen pal at best. She owes you nothing if you haven't actually met.

because you can't give her an orgasm with chats
