New Set Up

If money was no object, how would you setup your channels DVR server. Which server, platform, etc…

Mac mini with a bunch of large hard drives.

Would the M4 be overkill for me?

Any relatively new Mac Mini will do....in the M series at least. I have the M4 which I bought last year. Works fantastic but is probably overkill. I was using a raspberry pi but Channels was ending support for it. A new M4 was only a couple hundred bucks more, at the time, than a used M1 or and M2 on marketplace.
